Who's got their tickets for tonight then?

I know I have!

May the force be with you... always.

Actually, looking at that picture, Yoda's looking all smug, like he's just farted, where Obi-Wan and Mace Windu are looking at him all accusingly "Was that you, you dirty little green shit?". Actually, Windu looks like he's gonna start giving it all "Ezikiel 25:17..." and all that.

It's really good, I relly enjoyed it, it beats the other two prequels without even breaking a sweat.

Challenge - See if you can spot the Millenium Falcon.

My cousin has tickets for 'The Gallery' at the Printworks in Manchester tonight.
If his younger brother drops out (as expected), then i'll be going to watch it too.
It's worth paying that little bit extra to sit in the Gallery. Free snacks, and soft drinks, and you can take your beer/wine to your extremely large and comfy leather armchairs!

Looks the dogs bollocks heard its much more violent than the other films. Can't wait to see obi wan and anakin square up

Callum, what's the sketch with 'The Gallery'? Is it a totally different screen where there's massive seats and free booze for all? How much is it? I'd like to sign up for your newsletter.

My newsletter?? eh?

Do you know Manchester at all? When you come out of Victoria Station, one of the first buildings you come too is the Printworks (it's got loads of bars and posh shops in, outside is The Hard Rock Cafe), inside they have an IMAX cinema, and on the top floor of that, is 'The Gallery', an over 18's only section, with a bar, free snacks, and soft drinks and massive seats.
You sit over a the balcony of the biggest screen, but you can't hear the peasant scum below. Drinks aren't free, in fact they're quite dear, but they usually have offfers on. And you get to take your drinks to your seats.
It's £10 during the week, and £15 at the weekend, but it's worth it.
Just got confirmation that i am going tonight. The force is strong in this one!

"but you can't hear the peasant scum below.''

I like it

One of the lads I've just done lunch with has offered me a copy for 2.00. Supposed to be good quality as well

Just seen it and it's excellent. Oh yeah, Yoda > Palpatine. It's funny that Palpatine leaves two of the greatest jedi to have lived, Obi Wan and Yoda, be. As seen from the original trilogy it's his ultimate downfall.

'tis good, but somebody today pointed out a wicked similarity to Monty Python's Holy Grail in the film, which, if I'd have spotted at the time, I would have been laughing my head off at the cinema.

I'll not say anything until you've seen it.

Saw it last night, it was brill apart from the all you can eat chinese buffet on the way out of the cinema! Come to conclusion I can't diet, it's impossible.

Quote of the night from numbskull behind me on the way out, speaking to his misses "......wasn't it good how they made the original star wars follow on from that one...." fkin eejit, nearly turned round and slapped his chops, that was the ENTIRE bloody point!!

And don't watch it on DVD first, pirate or no, needs the pictures for full effect.

It really is worth watching.

Can't say i noticed any Holy Grail similarity, even trying to think of one now.
Thought it was really good though.

seen it last night. im not so sure about the heaps of praise its getting. dont get me wrong im not gonna slate it, i was tired and had two seven yr olds nipping my head but to me it just didnt live up to the hype. the effects are beutifull and seamless but i feel sometimes they take over these films the plot was good but some of the writing was a little shoddy eg: yoda has always been this wise old master but some of the lines he spoke were imo out of charachter, while i cant really pin it down, and i am paraphrasing here, he was coming out with something like "kick your butt will I" (not a direct quote but it was similar.
nat portman and hayden C were a little wooden especially in the last scene between her and hayden whe they had the big argument.
i dont think that the character of aniken would have turned so easy and did what he did, i feel that the plot let itself down here and could have been expanded.
it WAS an enjoyable film it IS vissually stunning and it DOES tie up the loose ends between 1 & 4
make your own minds up.
ps im going back to see it probly wed night with my wife so maybe get to enjoy it a little better.
