Fairplay!!!

right judges your day has come!!!

im too ling in the tooth now to be pillocked into the unspoken rule of home towm descisions!!!! but from now on all judges on any of my shows will be anserable for the descisions

they will have there name called out along side there score (as in pro boxing title bouts)
on the dvd's there scores will be on the screen after the fight so the people at home and for all to see what the foook they thought they saw

now this may be a bit harsh but im sorry a good honest judge should have fook all to hide, the protection of anonanimity is gone for me, make the right descision if the ticket seller loses so be it should have trained harder!!!

now some may not want to judge on my shows fooking great obvioulsy cant do the job right youd be paid for so your not welcome anyway

the fighters in the ring are sacrificing up to 3 months of there lifr for that moment and risking there health show the respect they deserve and pass the right descision and be accounted for it

am i over stepping the mark here your thoughts are welcome.........

No i think that this is just correct. Judges should be incorruptible.
Just a thought though, what happens if a ticket seller loses and his or her fans are not happy that the judge didnt bow to the cheers of the crowd?
Then what?

well yes as a promotor not good for business, but we have to put business to one side and simply remember we are supposed to be sportsmen, and if the better man wins then be the sprtsman we supposed to be and congratulate them, i always did and will..

You misunderstood what i meant. I meant :
Example, Ticket seller loses, judges name is announced. Result= poor old judge gets sworn at, threatened or jumped for not playing to the crowd.
Im all in favour of fair play but what about the scenario above?
And dont pretend it doesnt happen as it does!
I once scored a decision against a fighter on a home show and got a right lot of hassle from the promoter over it.
I was ready to get up and walk out of the show.

well should make it clear from the start of the evening to do as we do to ensure all spectaotrs show respect to all fighters, resurrection 6 mick sold 130 tickets and lost his bout all showed appreciation for simon micks opponent not a bad word was said, this is down to the mc and all parties involved if the fighter speaks openly about the respect they have for there opponent then there fans will hold the same regard,,,

- If you organise judges before the event (not grabbing any non-affiliated coach).
- If you pay the judges well.
- If the judges get looked after (refreshments).
- If you have quality security to look after the judges should a situation arise (as Farhad details)....
Then yes, I would agree.

Certainly gonna pump your costs up though.
If this is the commercial decision you choose to take then this is commendable.

Hi Jon

Dawn does this (or used to) on all of her shows. Even publishing the judges name next to the results on ax.

I personally dont mind it and will debate any decision that i give, along with the reason i gave it with anyone who matters.

I dont judge very often these days though. Must say that most of the people who just go on a course and have never fought dont seen to see things the same way as me, i find it disturbing.

Good luck and go for it.

thanks noi and mark,

we can moan all day long were not happy but unless were willing to look for ways to police and put thoughts into action, there would never be any progress...

its even been been mentioned that a judge has said to a fighter i saw you once fight a certain way, and because they didnt fight the same game plan as the judge ecpected they were down scored.. what the fucks that about arent we allowed to change strategies now

that has happened to us, hence why we dont trust that guy anymore!!!
