Hi There
I was wondering what you like to hear from your cornermen between rounds?
I only say one or two things and tell them if they have won or lost the round and if they are in front in the fight. I prefer to just get them comfortable.
WHat do you like to hear between rounds?
The "killer" technique you have been perfecting on the pads for the last 8-weeks will knock your opponent out. No problem.
I quite like it when my corner tells me I am going into the last round so its all over in 2 minutes!
Kind of like what I say to the girls - maybe thats why I like it!
"he's not comming out for the next round, you've won"!!!!
You've got to hear what you need to change in order to get the fight moving in your favour..good corner work is invaluable when you're fighting.
Other than that...I like to hear...'stick and move'...and....'hit him' :D
Mouthgaurd, sit down, breath. Then what has to be said but let me get some rest. Keep it simple as well.
DISCO, ELBOWS, CARTWHEEL
those were some of the things i heard this weekend:)
Heard over the walkie talkie 2 way radio we've left taped to the corner post whilst we've sloped off to the bar....."hurry up its your round!"
im winning and look damn fine doing it.. AAAiii
I'd like to have heard "There's twenty grand cash and blonde with big tits waiting for you in the changing room" but it never worked out like that.
Cheers
I heard several strange noises coming from my corner - its where I sit when I have been bad !!!
And boy !! Have I been bad today!! LOL

my trousers really suit me!
I like to hear whether I'm ahead or not and what is needed going into the last round (win the round/ get an 8 count/knock him out).
Otherwise, I'm a big fan of the thai style of cornering where they limber you up and then stand in front of you and tell you what strategy to employ.
Hi Tom
With my more experienced guys ,I hope they can work that out for themselves to a degree.
I think that some simple points to work on are enough unless they are getting battered. Most improtant is to get them comfortable, cool them dowm, give them a rest etc.
Did anyone hear Joe Calzage's corner in the first few rounds of his fight against hopkins? I guess they thought he needed a gee up?
"You make this stuff look good"
Love the hurry up its your round one!
