Julie Kitchen V. Germaine
I've heard through a reliable source that this is definite!!
This is without doubt the long awaited female dreamfight.
The fight is on Dennis Warners show in Jamaica - June 20th -63.5kg-
over 5x3 minute rounds full Thai rules with only 1 minute breaks!!
For the sakes of both parties-lets keep this thread amicable and expose the fact that this fight is exciting and will showcase a fantastic female bout, these girls have been chosen to fight amongst legends such as Yodsanklai Fairtex, John Wayne Parr and Lamsongkram Chuwattana.
This really shows the class of this bout and is a great choice for womens KB.
If this is defo happening (and FTR)good luck Julie K, you can do it lass.
er, anyone got a spare grand, i want to go to Jamaica!

Yep, quite a neck. She is very powerfull. The guy on the right is Ron Post from Meijiro Gym Amsterdam. Julie is a great fighter, this will be a good fight. Nice job by the promotor on this match up.
Oh WICKED!
That's freaken cool Julie! stoked for you.
Glad to hear training's going well and awesome that you got a good kickstart in thailand.
I'm just about to start training again after knee op. number 3, so if you want some sparring just give me a yell, i'm happy to come down a few weekend sessions. Oh but i can't kick until like July, so i could only give you boxing sparring... anyway, offer's there.
go Julie!
K

I can't fight for a year, so i decided to do something different and so moved over here! i'm now living in London...
Do i know you?
Nath i kind of meant that offer as a favour i guess, like if it would be of any use to Julie then i'll come down-if not needed then sweet! But i'll definitely come down for a visit/training holiday when i can kick again!
K
Hi again Footwork and Nath-
i tried to email you both back but my email is playing up and freezing when i try to send a message so i don't think they went. And now it's crashed completely...so anyway. I'll try again later, but just wanted to say thanks Footwork and absolutely i'd love to come and train with you when i'm back in the swing of things and can kick!
And Nath i would be delighted to help in your corner at the Woking show. Go you! haha.
Chur.
Karen
Got your email Karen. Thanks! ;-)

===================================================================
And who is that frightening looking character on the left, Stefan? :)
Tonite, in Utrecht, The Netherlands, WIKBA World Champion, Germaine de Randamie, knocked out Canada's Julia Budd in the first round with a powerful left hook, and in the process also broke Lucia Rijker's record of 36 consecutive kickboxing victories without a defeat or even a draw. (Rijker had a draw on her record.)
So, here is a golden opportunity for Julie to make herstory also, by putting the first blot on Germaine's record.
No one is invincible-not even Germaine.
I hope everyone will support this fight, which will put womens KB front and center.
dan
Will be any Live coverage of this?
Jesus. The girl's a machine. I want a crack! hahahaha.
GO JULIEEEEE!!
K
Good Luck Julie for the fight
from Thakoon Sasiprapa gym

haha! Good one Stefan! From what I know of you,I would wager nothing frightens you!
Regards,
dan
i waiting until closer for bookinh tivket if i was you i know english boxer will pull out if not take money and pretent injurey early
EoinO'Sullivan what are you on about!!!!!!!!!!
eoin-i bet you a £100 julie dosent pull out,in 29 fights julie has pulled out once against shelly wilson from minotaurs in march 2005--she sprained her ankle very badly the day before then got a lift to sidcup(around 6 hours drive)just to show shelly her ankle.
she rematched her 6 months afterwards.
a lot can be said about myself and julie and it has been!! but pull outs is something that you cannot relate to julie, she has fought with flu, broken toes and other injuries and headlined two shows in seven days and never let anyone down taking 19 fights at under 3 weeks notice.
please eoin,do your homework on julie before suggesting that she will pull out of this fight.
i am happy for you to email or call me if the problem is personal.my details are on the touchgloves.co.uk website.and i will gladly take that bet.nath
Julie to win, without a shadow of a doubt
Good luck although i know you don't need it !!!!!
All behind you Julie , any negative comments are not acceptable , every one should be also rating Julie 100 % instead of being petty , i don't understand why certain people should bother writing negative threads - shows ignorance.
This lady deserves all the support ( although not expected )
This is a massive fight for Julie,
And for some one to even consider Julie pulling out - yeah right - i dont think so , you obviously have not seen how much HARD training she is doing !!!!
Im guessing that Eoin was a little bit pissed when typed that!!!
Seriously what the hell is EoinO'Sullivan on?
There is no way Julie will pull out of this fight, or feign injury. The girl is game as they get, and as Nathan has put earlier doesn't pull out of fights.
I for one, am pretty insulted about what he's written about someone who has represented the sport brilliantly over the years, and for someone to think, let alone type that shows he knows as much about Julie as he does about spelling, or actually looking at his post again, the English language.
Knob...end of story
Could not agree more !!!!!
What a plonker - putting it politely
I cannot sit here any longer and witness this!
I know both Julie and Nathan very well and know that their standard of teaching, quality of gymnasium and of course the standard of fighters produced by this gym is second to none!
Julie is a great fighter and her and Nathan have even more qualities than some of you know. I live hundreds of miles away from this couple but personally know they are sincere and Julie I class as one of the ambassadors to the Ladies in the sport today! She has even switched styles to get fights....AND WON!!!!!
Nathan, its bad enough with the idiots who dont mind showing their names but still having a go at people even if they try and hide it, Trolls in the very same same vein, some of them attach themselves to others in several posts to try and forge self importance or a "look at who I know attitude!" Just ignore them, as you keep getting told mate.
You are at the top in your game and so is Julie, dont stoop to their standards or place yourself in the gutter with them.
Notice I havent even named them, its up to them to decide if they are trolls , trouble causers or raising what they consider is a good point or just having a go for the fun of it and to cause discomfort to others!!!
Now wouldn't it be nice to see some British support for Julie!!!
Come on, I have done it, dont let the other people bother you! Lets give support on this post now to a Lady who at this time needs to focus on the job in hand! She wouldn't have to be working so hard if here opponent was an easy touch, I have watched videos of Germaine and although I want Julie to win I certainly wouldn't pull her down. Both girls, top athletes great fight to be had.
Respect to you both and I hope the fight and trip furthers your careers in a positive way.
Cris Janson-Piers
win, loose or draw Julie will do it in style, anyway what am i on about coz she's gonna WIN and prove Germaine is beatable xx
Nathen ignore him he is one of them wierdos i think. he is jumping on to a few threads and chatting shit. ill see you both friday ahead of julies fight here.
Sharon Taggart
Good Luck Julie !!!
He's cropping up everywhere trying to stir up bollocks. Just concentrate on the several big fights(wink ;) ) your team has got coming up Nath. Good luck from us all at Taurus Julie , but you know that anyway .
Bit of an overreaction , after all EoinO'Sullivan blatantly gets off on out of the blue random harsh commemts i wouldnt give him teh satisfaction of the attention
Um i think with the ignorant dickhead's deliberately provocative pathetic and laughable comment, my post got missed-
WHERE IN JAMAICA?
chur
I agree with Dale dont rise to him your just giving him exactly what he wants. Everyone knows he's talking rubbish as Nathan and Julies reputation speaks for itself and doesn't need defending as they are too big and too good to rise to comments from this crank!!
Karen the fights will be in Montiego Bay Jamaica...
Yeah, I just couldn't resist defending Julie, and letting her know what people think of her.
Good luck Julie!
Head says Germaine, Heart says Julie. Great day for women in martial arts.
Please PLEASE let this be shown on pay TV!!!!
Good luck and best of British to you Julie and Nathan!
He's a deushbag!...Check out his post on the contender thread....
f*cking prawns lol nath i hope u dont have to weigh in at jesses gym or u will see the julie wall which they are all blaming pullen for but i bet theres others responsible haha
my faith in ax has been restored, thanks for your support everyone.nath
will have to check out the julie shrine @ shinkick :-)nath
I have to support my fellow dutch(wo)man Germaine, but if she is to be beat, Julie would be a contender to do so!
Check out the profile on EoinO'Sullivan, he is one of those fake wrestlers, haha, his schedule shows he is in Florida alot, Crystal River included...that's where my Gym is at...so put your money where your mouth is buddy and come on by and I'll teach you some dutch manners, don't worry...I won't be pulling out...
will there be any betting on this fight ?
LOL someone on here once said if you find this son of a gun ill kindly tapdance on their face it was on some woman beater thread, i hope a similar offer is extended or a breakdance in Davros' case!
prawns and douchbag all i tell you is truths of how i feel from experience what you dont have you call me troll but david is no profile and liamr is blank everyone do to same the artful dodger aswel no profile but i never make swear and bad mouth for children who read website like you do so prawn and douchbag liverpool mark not know how to talk without a swear and he never fight with never train a fighter to good levels
Dude you need to go back to school.....
