It wasn't a good night for Skarbowsky. Bigben caught him early on with a hard elbow that dropped him for a flash knockdown. Bigben then unloaded with another barrage and Skarbowsky dropped to the canvas, unable to beat the count. A great win for Bigben 1rd K.O

Great photos as usual Rob. Its great that you put stuff up on here to keep everyone informed about what happens in Thailand.

That's a good win for Bigben. I don't think the result was a surprise but 1st round KO and total domination was. Its usually Scarbowski that pulls out the surprise KO early on.

Regardless, I know so many peepz that fight people below their weight level. Not sure what weight the fight was at however doubt that skarborsky gave that many kilo's away for the fight.

I met JCS at Lumpinee last year and he is about the same size and build as Liam. He does blow up between fights and has fought from about 63 to 70-odd kilo's. Fair enough he may not have given away much weight, but its hardly his most optimum weight.
As Liam has said on his other thread when fighting to earn money and earn a living, means being flexible and willing to take on a challenge. JCS is a top fighter and is popular with the promoters in Thailand as he is such a "game guy". Fair play to him.
I saw him fight on the Kings Birthday 2004 on the S-1 (70kgs) tournament and although he was physically smaller than most of the other fighters, his heart and determination shone through...I think this is why he gets the opportunities, because of his fighting spirit.

yep he may not have given too many kilos away, but he looks like he could probably go below 65 if he really worked at it. He would have been at a disadvantage for sure in that fight, but as Rich says his fighting spirit is first class

also cos the gamblers love him as he is also vunreable himself when he gets tagged that mixed with his own ability to KO people always makes for a great fight
