Of course this will start something and that's what I want. I want to read what you all have to say about this video. Is it real? Or is it just some poor lump of shit in MT shorts?

hahaha, must be wind up surely? I'm not even a MT man, but that's gotta be a fix? Does anyone know the MT bloke in the vid? Can anyone say he's a genuine MT fighter with a decent fight record? I doubt it!

My thoughts exactly but I couldn't help but fan the flames of MT passion on Ax. None of the recent topics have been exciting.

The thai fighter is not even Thai he looks either chiness or Korean. probibilly the TKD guys student, Looks like he has never had a thai fight before even has his hand low like he is a TKD student.
If he is a genuine thai fighter then we may as well all go & join TKD.
But then again i'd rather chop of both my legs before i joined TKD. lol

Honestly I think TKD is a great art to learn at a young age to form a basis and after that MT all the way. The TKD kicks and the angles are quite impressive, add to them the proper MT fundamentals and training and you have a pretty explosive cocktail. If you don't agree; what was the name of that guy from Morocco that fought Wayne Parr at SuperLeague? Al Armani or something like it. He's very good and he's got a TKD background which has been of course refined with some MT. Anyone agree?

Kamal El Amrani, i think he got stopped by Shane Chapman and lost to Yodsaenklai in the K1

HE's still a good fighter though... You think his TKD background makes him more vulnerable?

Coming from a TKD background (and now training in MT) I've got to say that MT kicks are much stronger. I still love TKD though and I agree it is a good martial art to start at a young age, it helps immensely with flexibility and learning all the fancy spinning flying kicks is cool for demo shows! Unfortunately we weren't encouraged to punch/box properly, so hands down most of the time and since it has become an Olympic sport, we've had to put on loads of protective sparring gear and go on point system -- which you can't really apply to real life situations.
I didn't think I'd like MT, as I saw how hard the kicks were (they seem to be meant to break your/your opponent's bones) and I didn't really fancy not being able to walk after every training session! A year on and still struggling to learn how to block with shin (owie owie owie) I'm amazed I'm now encouraging my TKD friends to try it....the first video (tkd beating MT) the 'MT' guy just didn't look confident at all, proper MT would just go for the muscle side of the thigh or shin and that would be the end of it.

Its a sign of the apocalypse. The clouds shall roll back and the lightening shalt crashl, the seas will boil and be as blood and it shall come to pass that a TKD clown will beat the living snot out of an MT guy in the ring.

Never fret, good people of Ax. I have referred the matter to the ultimate arbiters of MA. The good people at bullshido.

Here is the link, they will supply us with plenty of scathing and witty commentary and maybe even actual useful or productive information:
