Thank you auntie Eileen for putting the poster up as I have techno-phobia!!! Im looking for fighters for this show juniors and adults!! I already have 6 fights confirmed but am looking for at least 6 more. Some of the proceeds of this show will be going to Stevie Sheddons cancer research fund raising drive and I am delighted to announce that Stevie will be coming out of retirement to fight on this show to raise funds for cancer research as someone very close to him is being treated for cancer.

If you wish to appear on this show please get in touch asap!! While Im on a big massive well done to Craigy Boy Walton who won the Renfrewshire junior sport personality of the year award a couple of weeks ago. Well done Craigy Boy your dad is down right ugly but you sure are talented!!!! Respect out to ya!!!

Thanks for having us Mr O'B, was a good show, and well done to young Bradley we are all very proud of you wee man you were ace, and also well done to his opponent Ross who gave him a very good and hard fight, well done boys a great way to start the show.

On another note no matter what happens the people supporting Alan Weaver were a disgrace simple as If you can't handle your drink without behaving in a moronic fashion then don't drink. I was sat ringside with my son and there were young children sat all over the venue and people were throwing drink into the ring. To be fair the security dealt with the situation well. There is NO place in this sport for idiots like that. Both myself and my son were covered in drink, so well done to the clowns full of booze. They all ended up outside fighting amongst thereselves............Nuff Said.

just like to say well done to john

your right rab was a good fight, dennis is a really good fighter fought some top class people like morgado, steve jones ect. i believe if john can start fighting on a regular basis thats when we will see his true potential.

Didnt see what happend with dannys fight but must have been bad if thats how all the trouble started.

A cracking show with some well matched fights.Well done to Colin Anderson on his win over Reggie ( cant be ideal prep seeing your wee boy in a state and having to fight straight after, hope he's well this morning)
Gary, Danny had been taken down 4 times in the the 1st round after having his kicks caught which obv. left him frustrated and when later in the fight he took his opponent down he let a kick go whilst Alan was on all fours.Alan was all but out and staggered back to his corner.
Danny didn't help matters by gesturing to Alan's supporters. His corner did the best thing and got him back to the dressing rooms.

Thanks for having us again John

I totally agree with what you have said above, but it still doesn't merit the behaviour of those morons, I hope your not condoning there behaviour or trying to justify it by your statement above.

Brian I dont think Ive excused or condoned their actions ,what have I written that would suggest anywhere that these clowns had a right to kick off. Danny took a cheap shot and then gestured and made a tense situation worse, was the point I was making.

Firstly thanks a million to one and all for your help and support!! The trouble that ensued was caused not by drink but by substance abuse!! You live you learn and these clowns will not be invited back it was a shame for Alan Weaver who is an absolute gentleman but you cant legislate for eejits!!! I didnt see Dannys fight but I`ll get the DVD tomorrow and if he`s out of order then he`s finished with our gym, end off!!!

Massive respect to Mr. Mischo Donko who paid £200 for the K4C shorts which we auctioned. Thanks also to Dave Ahern and the Cork fight team who were brilliant to work with and their fighters were tough and skillfull, hopefully we will return the favour by going over to Cork soon!! I put up full results and photos as soon as I sober up!!!

Just to let everybody know that Anton Finnegan who was taken to hospital has been discharged and hes A O.K.

Yeah I know Gary and we had young Bradley being at a big show for him for the 1st time and seeing all that going on, it's hardly a good advert for the youngsters in this sport. And his dad wasn't best pleased about being covered in drink either. I am just glad I didn't take my daughter with me, and she loves going to shows as well.

I am sure they are the same "fans" that were being cocks at the Kaizen event a few months ago. Rushing the ring etc How did John D get on??

i was part of the security team last night and had to address Alan Weavers support on several occasions throughout the night, (blocking fire exits/routes to the bar etc) as this was not my event i did not want to appear heavy handed and asked them on each occasion politely to move , they were not the easiest crowd to deal and were clearly becoming more "boisterous" as the evening progressed.
When Alan's fight started the surged forward, when Alan went down they went "Tonto" and a drink was thrown into the ring, the guy who threw the during was immediately removed. and the security team made a cordon round the rest of the support, some left and the rest calmed down (a bit).
there was another altercation with them outside although I'm not sure if they were fighting with each other or anyone else.
One thing that made matters worse was that Alan Weavers corner team were standing on the edge of the ring actively egging their supporters on while the security was trying to calm them down, this was done to such a degree that I told one of the corner men he would be removed from the building if he didnt settle down.

Speaking for myself as a promoter and this can be taken any way you want, any time i go to a show i watch fighters, i look for good fighters with good support and activity target them when i am promoting. when promoting a show i take into cognizance all areas of the promotion and take very seriously the safety of my audience, i will not compromise their safety by promoting gyms/fighters who are unable to control themselves, and as i say i can only speak for myself but i know for a fact that the incident last night was witnessed by 6 Scottish promoters. not a good advert when you want to promote your fighters from a gym who are now developing a reputation for this type of behaviour.

one other thing happened last night that absolutely disgusted me one of the kids fights was brought to an end prematurely and a child was in the ring injured, some adults from his opponents club were screaming "Easy Easy" I'm sorry but these are the type of people channel 4 actively sought out a shows during baby fight club, and are in my opinion vile!!

on a more positive note , the show as a whole was run well and the fights in general well matched, Kieth Middleton stood out for me he put in a really good solid performance and was great to watch him, Reggi Agu and Colin Anderson was a nice fight and the main event was superb ( if unfortunately one sided). Didn't recognise John Douglass fighting he just didnt seem his normal self although his Irish opponent was a bear, as solid as a tree trunk.
well done to OB1 he did his best to put on a quality show at credit crunch ticket prices and was let down by some clowns, and despite many of the negative comments remember guys these incidents were over with in a relatively short period of time, and should not distract from an otherwise great show.

thanks for having us over john. Had a great time in Scotland. Both dennis and andy done very well fighting two established fighters. Andy stuck to his gameplan and stopped paul kelly in the second.

Dennis fought a very good and solid fight. I am a great fan of john douglas and his style but thought dennis was overall stronger in most departments. It was a great fight to watch especially the third round with both lads throwing elbow for elbow.

It was good to meet john D + john o B , gary d + gary o B , robin d, stevie brown and a few others again.

see you all again in a few weeks. rock on kilty kilty :-)
thanks again john o b.

Modeling for what? Halloween cakes?

I echo all the sentiments said here, great show, shame about the absolute riot, despite drink being thrown in the ring and nearly being bottled myself (what did i do to upset anybody?!) The security handled it really well.

What made me feel sick was, as Briancal pointed out, just how many kids there was, even pregnant woman, thankfully as said before it was well and truly dealt with and no-one got hurt.

To be fair though, ive been to alot of shows all over the place and this is the only bit of trouble ive since an MMA show over a year a go, is still not cool when it happens though but hopefully through time these meatheads get educated in the sport and the respect fighters deserve.

On a more positive note, though, the kids fights were particularly excellent! always good to see

Photos up ASAP
