What Juniors are about 43-45kg Experienced as in 10+ fights or strong fighters aged 13/14

i have a lad 13 39-40kg only had 5fights but is the current scottish champion

Joe is a little too light as may be this lad not sure. We are looking for 43-45KG 19fights

he constantly grazes Pete but unfortunately he's under 40kg. Maybe the scottish lad could be a good match for Joe after the Adelphi Show on the 20th August.

Paul TMAS....we thought Brian was supposed to have been matched with Daniel at Rays show in Kettering!!! I dont no why you didnt show maybe it was the travelling?? but i said in an email to you we `d love this fight again.... Ive asked Steve Logan if he would have Daniel on one of his shows in Birmingham and he said definately...so maybe this would be interest you?? Let me no and i can ask him if this could go ahead on his next show

nightmare Holly....hoping things pick up for sure!! Its a bit soul destroying for the lads when theyre training hard with no fight at the end!! Im thinking of sending you up a crate of Guinness and a load of Steak for Joe to get his weight up to 45kg lol

well he'd appreciate the steak pie..I cook it regular..but he's still under 40kg..lol.

Paul - the fight was matched on Rays show but Bryan was ill in the week so we had to pull out in the end and Ray was informed.He did say a replacement had been arranged for Daniel, but that said, This is deffo a fight we would love to get back on and if we can sort it out for steve logans show that would be superb.

Holly - we have the problem with Bryan were he is in growth spurt now, he wont stop putting weight on!!! the kg's are piling on him. The way he is going he will be hitting 50kg in no time. We will lend Joe a few kgs if you want :-)

we cant get nicolas ball fights at 36kg as you all know he's a small lad so putting waight on him is no good but no one want's to fight him at this waight and if he did put a few kg on he's got to fight lad's alot taller than him and if he lost a few kg he's then fighting lads alot younger than him and more so now we are looking for head contact (boxing only) for him and the same for connor butler so any takers out there

No worries Paul.... We only found out on the day that Bryan wasnt coming and to make things worse his replacement pulled out on the day to.... Definately need to get this fight on as it was close the last time. I've recieved an offer of another fighter for Daniel on this show so i will definately be in touch soon.
Mal- How old is Nicolas? Because we have Dylan Chamberlain down here at East area i think he is 9yrs old and 30-35kg, (i would have to check this out to be sure)... he's also a southern area champion. I'll try and confirm his weight and see where we go after that.

hi paul nicolas is 12 years old he's only small but a very good fighter he hasnt had a lot of fights of late coz its hard to get him matched even on the adelphi show that is in are own city we cant get him matched and thanks to si for trying

O.k John Paul no prob mate Daniel is probably wobbling about at over 45kg at the moment as wer up here in Scotland on holiday....to many take aways lol... Once he's back training usually between 43 and 45kg so maybe something in the future

Hi Gary. The original post by Liam was about Daniel who has really struggled to get fights in the last year so that would be great if your lads are coming down here as well. JP was mentioned to us as being a good match for Daniel i no at the minute there's a slight weight difference but Daniel took a bit of a growth spurt and went from 38kg to 45kg in under a year so i'm sure JP will be the same...they'll probably meet pretty soon. Its good to get the names mentioned of the decent lads at and around this weight as at a young age the weights can shift quickly in 6 months with growth spurts so the matches that seemed 305kg off can be possible in a matter of months, if everyone knows whos the top few around those weights above and below there are potential matches there and at this age there is no loser all experience is valuable. I remember at young age Reece Crooke who was an adult fighter at 54kg fought liam harrison who we all know is a 61-63.5kg fighter. Daniel is a great kid who is dedicated to his training it would be a shame to see him go off the sport simply due to lack of fights plus im tired of him Cartwheeling me LOL

unfortunately it seems the way of the world Liam. If kids want to be the best they have to fight the best. It just seems they don't want to for one reason or another. I posted something on AX over 6 months ago for matches for Joe but heard nothing. Unless we are willing to give 5kg away ( which I would never do again) there are no takers.

I would hate to think that Junior Thai boxing would ever go the way junior football has gone where winning has become so important that development of potential talent is all to often overlooked. Daniel has given away weight in everyone of his 19 fights and probably learnt just as much from the fights he lost as the ones that he won. We all want our kids to win but sometimes you've got to experience the low's to appreciate the highs. I agree with Liam that experience is only gonna be gained by getting in the ring and competing on a regular basis and besides i'm sick of Daniel cart wheeling me lol

Junior fights with body armour are pony if u give away weight its too unrealistic. Weight and experience is the issue i dont believe that age is much of a factor, obviously not a fat 6yr old against a skinny 12yr old but within reason. Ive had 14 year olds win by stoppage on several occasions against adults.

Brian collins would be best lad to take this fight or lad from nathen kitchen name izack sits around 43kgs

hi folks. it looks like you've got somme very good young fighters in your labs. as kirkby thai are aware, we are holding a title show on 0ctober 9th, 2010 in greenwich.
it would be great to match these very busy young fighters for titles at our show.

1/ josh hall: 14 years old,42.2kg. 3f and quite a lot of interclubs. would be happy to go for either a decision or title.

2/ terry harris: 15 years, 52kg 5f and interclubs.english or british title.

3/ ashley harris, 12 years old, 32kg few interclubs but tough cookie

4/ keris gnahore, 9 years old female, 39kg, 1f 1l and many interclubs.
she has been sponsored to fight any 8-10 years 0ld at 38-39 kg

5/ salah abdelsalam, 18 years old, 68kg 8f 1l, junior british champion

6/ lucy colville, 16years old, 70 kg 1f, 1l and many inters.
