WTC :Confirmation of 10 victims of Romanian origin

Sadly but officially confirmed, there are 10 Romanians (of whom 8 American citizens and 2 residents) among the missing persons at WTC - the first version was that there were 15 Romanian natives escaping alive and no victim, but they did consider only Romanian citizens. A couple of guys (man and wife) were in the first day at work after vacation and arrived early on intention to do some extra work ...

Guys, this makes me even more one on your side.

Just for the sake of the victims' memory - the names (being aware of the endless list of all the others ...) :

- Corinna and Alex Stan
- Nicoleta Avramescu
- Liliana Arsinel
- Dorin Ciobanu
- Gabriela Ciobanu
- Catalin Avram
- Viorica Suteu
- Claudiu Viorel Caraiani
- Dominica Puerava

RIP ...

Senseless, isn't it. All good people I'm sure.

It's a shame we even have to have posts like yours but, we need everyone to know who the victims were. I read each persons name and thought about each for a moment as I read them.
May they rest in peace brother.

Thank you, Scott.

I just wanted to prove (if needed anymore ...) that this is not only an America vs terrorism but a world vs terrorism issue. They stroke America just because it is the strongest nation they fear about.
It is less known that Russia had also a strike, almost simultaneuous, done very probably by the same criminal network, of lesser impact but still killing 7 people in the Moscow subway.
Finally, the cold war comes to an end, and this lead to an unexpected improvement of relationships between America and Russia after a painful and longstanding adversity.
May God make that the evil intentions of the offenders might always have as a result the strenghtening of good will and good behaviour among true honest humans.

I like true, honest humans. Those are the kind of people I want to fill my world with. Anything wrong with that?

Anything wrong with a person living a peaceful life full of love, hard work, good times and friendship among all.

Am I too idealistic? Maybe. But why does it have to be any other way? Because Osama says so.

Even if every person that died was an American, I'd still say the world should stand together.

Many countries had people in the towers and on the flights...we all need to work together and kill the &^$&^#$& before they kill again.

To all families and friends. Stand strong and may you have the comfort you need to help you through.
