Buakaw to fight again
On 2 July 2012, Mr. Dej Jaikla (the Director & Registrar of the Sports Authority of Thailand's Board of Boxing Sport), Mr. Nopparat Puttarattamamane (Thai Fight representative), Dr. Theppakorn Intharapat (Buakaw's lawyer), Mr. Wiwat Saengsuriya (Por Pramuk camp's lawyer) and Mr. Teeraphat Rojanathan (owner of Por Pramuk camp) met for arbitration at the Civil Court at Ratchadapisek.
After the arbitration meeting that lasted for almost 7 hours, the court decided to acquit all parties and ordered that Buakaw be allowed to box again. Buakaw will have to use 'Buakaw Por Pramuk' as his fight name, but is free to train on his own. 60% of fight earnings will go to Buakaw, & 40% to the camp. Income from all activities other than boxing will be divided 75:25 (75% to Buakaw, 25% to the camp).
As for the 6-month suspension imposed on Buakaw by the Registrar of the Board of Boxing Sport, the court decided that the Sports Authority of Thailand and the Board of Boxing Sport shall find a solution that will allow Buakaw to continue boxing after the court acquitted him.
Mr. Dej said that the court felt that Buakaw has brought fame to the nation and muaythai and is an asset to the country, and thus decided to acquit him in order to let him continue to fight and make a name for Thailand.
BUAKAW will fight on the August 17 Thai Fight Extreme 2012 show at the King Power Stadium in Leicester, England.
Here is the fight card so far:
BUAKAW VS ......................................70 KLG
SUDSAKORN VS .............................70 KLG
SAIYOK VS ISSAM REGHI 70 KLG
AMINE VS ABDALLAH MABEL 70 KLG
SINGMANEE VS DYLAN SALVADOR 67 KLG
MICHAEL DICKS VS HOCINE BENOUI 67 KLG
LIAM HARISON VS CRICE BOUSSOUKOU 67 KLG
JORDAN WATSON VS .................................. 70 KLG
Great news and awesome line up.......... Muay Thai!
what a sh!t card....
JOKE !!
Thai fight in the UK ... Awesome
Would Jordan have another shot at Buakaw?
Id rather see him fight Sudsakorn tbh.
Can't see Thai fight being in Leicester or the UK or on a Friday......
As you may have gathered from the name of the stadium, the Leicester City FC is owned by King Power CEO and Thai millionaire Vichai Raksriaksorn.
Cool, seems a strange day tho, will defo be up for watching this
It's the 18th not 17th, coincides with first day of season Leicester at home to Peterborough United. King power are the sponsors of Leicester stadium and also one of the main Thaifight sponsors, they almost put on a show there last year, but got put back.

Link to Liam's opponent.
Looks like a top line up.... travel down for this if it happens/on.
Seen Sittichai won the toyota 8 man recently. Looked a good fighter, seen his scrap with Petaswin too!
Great show not a fan of sudsakorn though tbh x
Given the monstrous size of some of the people fighting at 70, would buakaw not be best fighting at 67? heard he'd make it easy
Who would give Buakaw a decent scrap at 67kg though? Would like to see Jord at 67 as heard he could make it! Be nice to see him in with Dicks, TNT, Kulebin etc.
He's ripped to death at 70. No one has given him a decent scrap in god knows how long. Jordan Watson was probably the last person to give him a decent go, and before that probably his KO loss against Sato. Mans a beast!
but honestly - i think both sudsakorn and yod would be far too big for him at that weight.
I dont think Sudsakorn is that special, think Buakaw would go through him. Doubt Yod would make 70 anymore, would have loved to have seen them fight when Yod was in his prime!
well yod was fighting a month or two back at 70 i believe.
What a show. Cant wait to see liam and jordan fight. Will make the trip upnthe m1 for this.
Where in gods name have I been?! Christ I never even knew this was on!!! Anybody know who's supplying tickets? Prices ect...
interesting how no one has taken the lesson from the Sato KO and applied to Buakaw- he cant be beaten in kicking and punching and so few exponents of the long knee in k1 max - any tall fighter with good knees would give him trouble- like to see Craig Jose fight him tbh
Yod fought at 75 not 70 mate he's not chance of making that
ah cheers man i stand corrected. No idea where i heard it.
It is the 17th after all and will be free to see
28 Posts on a thread about a free event in the UK featuring Sudsakorn, Saiyok, Buakow, Harrison, Watson, Dicks. This thread should be going crazy with posts!!!!
this is the first event they are putting on in U.K with a chance of more to come next year, it is basically a showcase this time to test the reaction and also get other people in U.K interested in maybe taking it to another level, if all goes well this could be very big for U.K Muaythai scene.
Once i find out more details of times and exact location I will put it up here
If they want to get people in uk hyped about this maybe it would be better if our guys were fighting the thais, instead of shipping a load of frenchies to fight them (with the exception of the buakaw/jose fight?).
Fair play tho, I cant wait for this!!
Buakaw vs Jose or Wakeling would be good
says on mymuaythai hes fighting craig jose
How are they promoting it? Will their be T.V commercials, or posters around towns?
Copy and pasted from mymuaythai
Many thanks to Raisin Menthe for sending this along… looks like Thaialand & UK vs. France!
1. Buakaw Por.Pramuk (THAI) VS Craig JOSE (ENGLAND) 70 kg.
2. Sudsakorn Sor.Klinmee (THAI) VS Abdoul TOURE (France) 70 kg.
3. Saiyok Pumpanmuang (THAI) VS Reghi Issam (France) 72 kg.
4. Armin Matli (THAI) VS Abdallah Mabel (France) 70 kg.
5. Singmanee Kaewsamrit (THAI) VS Houcine Benoui (France) 67 kg.
6. Jordan Watson (ENGLAND) VS Hamed hassan (France) 70 kg.
7. Liam.Harrison (ENGLAND) VS DylanSalvador (France) 67kg.
8. Michael DICKS (ENGLAND) VS Crice Boussoukou (France) 67 kg
will tnt be on this our top welter?
why the french connecton?
liam harrison v michael dicks would have been a better fight on this card than against the french fighters
Watson vs Sudsakorn too!
Would actually like to see Saiyok vs Michael Wakeling
how do we get tickets for this????
Its free apparently Keith
So is it a case of first come first served for entry? Really fancy this but would be total sh*t if like myself folk couldn't get in due to x-amount of numbers. I'm guessing it's gonna be held in the conference suite & not out at the actual pitch itself?
Can't believe how quiet this show is! The fight card is masive and since when ave we ever had a walk in for free show, please promoters more updates?
guy who owns stadium owns king power so dont think he is assed to sell tickets lol
it's what every promoter wishes for a show with no boundaries
yeh the sponsors involved with Thaifight have some serious money, as i said before it is to showcase Thaifight this time and they are looking to work with people in U.K after this with poss shows next year
How do we.get tikts? Is it an invitational thing
Can I fight on the show?
It's almost masonic the amount of secrecy lol
Hope more info comes out about this soon.
Huge line up and only 45 minutes down the road...!
If its first come first serve im pitching my tent outside!
Big question everyone is asking is what is the audience capacity there worry being arriving to find out they can't get in?
Surely be in the main stadium if there is no paid entry.
looks great, all the best to liam, jordan, michael and craig.....great opportunity for craig jose!!
thanks davey, damn right, scary but great :)
will it not just be the same as thai fight in thailand, with certain amount of tickets made for it... still a ticket event but tickets are free, so a case of getting your hands on a ticket!!
chok dee mr jose..buakaw a beast but you're no fairy cake yerself. ave it
all the best
will be a cracking fight. I heard this was gonna happen after i made my comment above. Anyone need next weeks lottery numbers? lol.
We will see some quality techniques- remeber Craig Jose fight against Vorn Viva, that was 4 year ago,h ewas impressive in that outing he is fucking miles ahead from there now fi you look at the wakeling fight
hopefully it will be on the pitch as the seating set back from the pitch alone is 32,500 and a ring is nowhere near the size of a pitch which could allow for more but obviously this wont draw a crowd of anywhere near 30,000+ i wouldnt expect?
This should be awesome, it will also prove the British Thai fan base..
There is another topic in regards to ticket prices and people actually going to the big shows, 1 of my partner made a comment saying that we should all let people in for free then and maybe shows will be packed, maybe, maybe not, cant wait to see if this will be packed out or not..
If I turn up 2 hours late will I still be able to get in and get a seat? I hope it does get packed out, but will other promotors try this??
Really cant wait to see Buakaw!!
Good Luck
Can't wait to see Geordie
who do I need to give the secret handshake to,to get tickets ? :>)
Amazing show! be interesting if it was on the pitch and it was free entry and there was plenty tickets to see just how many people would go and watch.
Come on Geordie!:)
Thanks a lot guys, get this fight next week done first. Then start preparing, appreciate the support
Absolutely phenomenal... this is already in the diary!
I will not miss this.
HOW DO YOU GET TICKETS!!!!!!!!
That's what I'm thinking. It's only a month and a few days away.
Seems a bit of a mystery. Fingers crossed all will be revealed soon.
Looks like a great line up. I emailed the stadium earlier in the week but they don't seem have any info yet:
"Dear Supporter,
Thank you for your query regarding the Thai Fight Night event. Unfortunately we currently have no information available to pricing and selling arrangement dates. However, if you could forward a daytime telephone number and once we have the information available, we will give you a call to let you know."
I'll post if I hear anything more.
Yeah keep us posted thanks Sean

Any news on the final line up?
Still no news on how to get hold of tickets???
I really can't believe this event is so guarded or how quiet this thread is!!!!
maybe it needs a thread of it's own with a more descriptive title.
My girlfriend rang up the King power Stadium earlier and they told her
"nothing is confirmed yet but they are having a meeting today, call back Friday!"
Another "flyer" went on Facebook today.

where's Craig on that poster? I would have thought his fight with Buakaw would have been the main event as Buakaw is there champion
Thats true Darren, you would think he would be on there as he is fighting one of the thais.
