If you are looking for some cheap heavy bags he does some made of rip stop which I have found to be very hard wearing. Well worth a look if you can't afford the premium Thai brands. he got some new thai stock in a few months ago,its a lot better than his old thai stock,its only recently that he started to look around at the quality of thai equipment and decided he could get good equipment to match whats out there,he normally supplies karate and boxing stuff,hope gyms pick up on his gear.

I would ring mark direct for a trade price, his trade price is on average 30% cheaper than the website prices. No minimum order and he is a good guy to deal with.
I have only used his old stock which was very good value for money £40 for a pair of heavy duty leather thai pads which lasted longer than the FBT pads I had which were £55 a pair. His gloves are good too.

if you are local to manchester or visiting for fights a trip to Marks shop is highly recommended, its unique to say the least. He is a karate instructor and has a gym upstairs from the shop. He serves behind the counter wearing his karate suit!!! The shop is tiny and filled from floor to ceiling with martial arts equipment. The last time I was there for some fights mark opened up the shop for us at 10pm on a sunday night to collect some equipment. He even let us go and try the thai pads out in his gym before we bought them!! You will struggle to get that kind of service anywhere else!!!

cant comment not been on there website,its a 2 minute walk to the shop for me,at the end of the day its thai stuff on offer,people will always copy others,there is a guy near us selling top brands fairtex twins and others that are not original but just as good,its the way of the world,myself personally if i can sell gear to my students cheaper thats of good quality then i will ,as we all no thai equipment is getting more expensive,so we look for a cheaper version.

i put this on not to piss anyone of just to advertise for a guy who runs a martail arts shop but has no thai contacts,students in the gym where not happy at the prices they were paying for equipment,sandee is all i have really ever used in my gym and on my shows,the only way around this is something similiar but cheaper,fair enough its a copy,but it does the job for me and my students, obviously it wont be your sandee,twins,king standard,why would i try to upset anyone when i advertise fightshop sandee,all over the gym,my fight banners at the weigh and at our shows as well,the fighters nearly everyone of them wear them,sandee gear is tops,but not everyone in my gym can afford it,hope that clears things up .

i usually get my stuff thru fightshop but i cant get hold of Dazm the respect gear is quality we are kitting out of gyms with it thank you for the link Jonny much appreciated

Johnny,Good on you for putting it up,Stuff is expensive these days,So a cheaper but good quality line of equip is always good to use.Especially for anybody just starting up training or a gym.
The more expensive makesare just that! Expensive.

The thing is though that the quality is nowhere near as good. Make sure you get a guarentee for when it all falls apart so that you can get your money back. Add to that that half the stuff is in fact more expensive than Sandee and its not even made of leather, but you can make your own minds up.
