Reminds me a lot of Grand Master Sken's demonstrations from years ago, except instead of kicking a ball GM Sken would often Kick an apple from a sword!

Does Tony Jaa add athletics, gymnastics and some other stuff to his Muay Boran, of course he does. However, he does and has done a great job of promoting Muay Boran.

I was fortunate enough to be exposed to Muay Boran through SIMTA in the 1990's under Neil Holden, who was a student of GM Sken and Sandy Holt. When most people's training consisted of punch, kick, punch, the Sitnarong way was to become the ultimate martial artists both in the ring, on the streets and at school.
My grades at school and confidence started to slip when Neil packed it all in for Kickboxing.
Shame really, since he was a great Thai instructor. Probably one of the top five in the North West IMO.

I got to briefly interview JCVD at Lumpini last year and he said then movie commitments meant he had to put it back to April, but don't worry it would definately go ahead!

I heard Tony Jaa had a couple of Muay Thai fights, but very difficult to prove since he comes from the countryside and they were probably at a village festival.
