Devilman is tough he qualified from a group to fight for Yokkao and has big name in Italy ,gave a great account of himself at Yokkao extreme and also been on fight code.
We'll Liam H doesn't need an introduction ,had another big fight arranged for Liam but got messed around in an very unprofessional manner.

Craig again no intro has a huge fight ahead of him on Thaifight he takes on Anthony Kane who now trains with Rayen Simpson and is managed by Slamm ,he's fought all over Europe and on Thaifight 67kg.Anthony was born and lived Ireland now lives in Neatherlands and is very keen to fight back home he has some big Kos behind him.

Ilias was all over the place but he is tough lad he cut Rungravee in 1st and just got worn down he was in bits round 3 and getten sick in the corner,he came out for 4th but got put down and out by upward elbow.

Still may need some matches for this

Harrison by tko, horrible leg kicks, Kane by tko rnd 4 left hook/elbow, Aaron o callaghan by decision in a classic, Cashman and Clancy both won Irish titles as did Karl McCallig, from my own camp Dommie Kelly won by tko and Barry o connor v classy decision win. Show was amazing, massive credit goes to Martin for putting it together. Darren Phillips, Chris Podesta and their team did a great job

Anyone want to give us a play by play of some of the fights whilst we're waiting for vids?

Kane stopped Jose with elbows?
Big fan of both guys from watching thai fight.
Really surprised to hear Jose got stopped.
Seen him fight in London few years back and took some devastating punches from a Spanish opponent at the start, but actually came back to win the fight.

Kane has really showed how dangerous his elbows are, particularly in his previous fight a couple months back.
Hurt his opponent real bad in throughout and actually finished him with elbows in the last round I think.
geordie
Posted: 2012-10-09 14:53:28
hi, basically i was contorlling the range well rd 1, started rd 2 faster with more of the same. kane caught me rd 2 late on dropped me, no excuses just a hard well timed hook, or 4. i jumped straight up kane followed by dropping me again straight away which i got a standing 8. rd 3 i came strong again taking the rd easy and doing some damage. rd 4 he caught me again early on with a hook then elbow to cut. was a good fight it was going well other than the hooks. fairplay to kane he made his power work. first time ive ever been dropped in 54 fights. Even Rotung didnt drop me when he broke my jaw, it was bound to happen eventually. i switched off for a min and paid the price
Marco S
Posted: 2012-10-09 15:02:48
Damn, sounds back and forth.
Same basically when Kane fought the Belgium guy on thai fight.
He took some punishment with kicks from the outside and didn't have much in the way of kicks himself, but was real slippery with his punches and great timing, dropped him at the end of the third with a great hook.

Was he noticeably stronger, like physically, than other opponents?

Them dutch trained fighters always seem to have the edge with punching power for some reason.
geordie
Posted: 2012-10-09 19:13:28
not really stronger just powerful puncher who commits with his shots. with him being short its a different angle to alot of other fighters. hes good fighter

Thanks to all the Irish gyms for the support ,and to the English ,Dutch and Italian teams.
Also to Darren ,Chris and team for a busy night of work.

On side note well done to all my own gym with 10 out 11 wins and nice few stoppages vs some of the most experienced Irish fighters they could have been matched with,3 new titles at the gym.
