There's been a slight change of date to Black Widow Fight Night which now returns to Gatecrasher Birmingham on Sunday 13/04/14.

Headlining the event will be x4 World Champion Andy Howson who will be taking on International opposition to be announced shortly. The event will feature Thai Boxing, K1 Rules & Pro MMA bouts if your interested in providing any fighters for the event N Class- A Class then please email me their names, ages, weights and experience to yogiboxer@hotmail.co.uk and I'll get matched up ASAP.

After careful consideration we have decided to offer our new modified fight concept to our upcoming event.

Those wishing to fight traditional Thai-Boxing rules are also welcome on the showand 5x3s, 5x2s & 5x1.5s bouts will still be offered.

Modified rules bouts will involve and offer the following:

A Class Bouts
3x3s Full Thai Rules
Muay Thai scoring in affect rounds 3, 4 & 5 of typical fight
No Thai Music
No Ram Muays
If the bout ends in a draw competitors must fight an extra round

B Class Bouts
3x3s Knees allowed to the head, elbows allowed using elbow pads
Muay Thai scoring in affect rounds 3, 4 & 5 of typical fight

Andy H vs Dan McGowan would be an interesting fight if the weight could be agreed, Andy is a legend at the 55kg weight, Dan McGowan used to make that weight, don't know if he can now, new blood taking on old blood would be a great fight.

I will never be fighting Dan and that's the end of that's that tbh. We are friends and hopefully in the future will be training a bit together sparring etc. he's a great lad and a great fighter, this will most likely be my final year seen as turn 35 in May and I've much bigger things on this year with WBC world title fight, 8man tourny in Japan, fight lined up for the end of the year in avegas on Lion Fight and also in talks with JWP about fighting on his next show in the cage MT with Mma gloves. I have no doubts what so ever that in a few years Dan is going to be the 1 to beat at 55kgs for many years to come, he's awesome.

Andy is fighting Macauley (Dans training partner) Daniel is lighter he is 53kg but would fight at 55 if Andy H beats Macauley.

We also have Bart at 53KG.

Let me put an end to this now Liam, Andy isn't interested in fighting any junior/youth however talented they maybe, the above post is in regards to Reece Crooke, why should a multi time World Champion like Andy Howson fight someone he has nothing to gain from, pointless fights, when he has WBC World title fight lined up, 8 Man tourney in Japan and World title in Australia, good luck with your fighters

Eh?? And since when have I been matched to fight Macauley then??? Behave Liam, it's a fight that's never going to happen whether you want it or not. I'm not going to get in to any kind of conversation even entertaining it. Macauley is a great kid....and I do mean kid. I'm 35 years old in May fighting for the WBC world title in my next fight, then an 8 man In Japan, I've a really good fight also lined up in October before I then go to Australia to fight on JWP's show taking on the number 1 Daniel Mini T for the CMT world title....! Why on earth would I fight Macauley mate? Just cause he's been to Thailand for a few months? I don't think so. Macauley is a fantastic talant as is Dan and I look forward to the day they run the 53-55kgs divisions but they have not earned the right to challenge me mate and you know that. As I say nothing against them at all, infact I speak to Dan all the time and we are gonna be sorting out to do some sparring soon in prep for our fights in May as on the same show, but I have and never will have any interest in fighting them so leave it out dude and don't come on here writing things that point blank are not true!! I am not, have not and will not ever be matched to fight Macauley and never will be.

Crossed wires i thought they were on about Andy Hughes mate, i hadnt given any fight with Howson a 2nd thought i know he has plans for final year which is more than acceptable. Mac is matched with Andy Hughes i havent offfered Macauley for Howson before, once offered Dan but we are happy with Dan in the weight below anyway and they are working together sparring etc so its all good.

Reece is a talented guy and would make a great fight but after stepping on the scales three days ago and seeing that im 67kg aint looking good to make 55kg in that short time :/ i am back in training now and feeling alot better after my stay in hospital things are looking up :) i should be down for the show defo and it looks a top show :) giz a buzz andy pal when you get a chance.
