Carlton Lieu
The youngest fighter from Team Tieu of his calibre, Carlton Lieu is a highly intelligent fighter who utilises his agility and speed to make a lasting impression on his opponent. He’s also the one to be paying attention to with the biggest potential at his age and level.
Kyle Helleur
This two time former UKMF English champ has fought the likes of Greg Wootten and John Dicks and is more than a match for Carlton. He has a record of 13 wins and 11 losses and looks to make a statement this MTC. Catch these two amazing fighters battle it out in an all-out war this SMTC !
The next bout for MTC has been confirmed and it is between UK's reigning No.1 against the French No.1 !
Christi Brereton
Christi is an absolute stunner in and out of the ring in more ways than one. Her extremely technical and traditional style has won her over the likes of Alexis Rufus,Amy Pirnie and Grace Spicer. She also happens to be UK's Number 1 in the 55kg weight category and a WMPF world champion among other titles... I don't think I will need to say much more about her, just come down and see for yourself !
Soraya Bucherie
This femme fatale is the reigning No1. Champ in France and is here to make a statement. Coming from victories against Ruth Ashdown and Roxana Gaal the No 1. in Holland, she is now in the UK to take down the reigning champ Christie. This matchup is truly one of epic proportions and will guarantee an absolute WAR between these two goddesses.
The next bout is up : Michael ' The Beast from the East ' Pham ( Team Tieu ) vs Ryan Ward ( Stars Gym ) .
Ryan Ward :
A young fighter with a great start as he has achieved 4 out of his 5 wins by TKO/KO and you can tell this man is on the path to greatness. In every one of his fights, he has displayed improvement in every aspect of his style and technique and we look forward to seeing him pit himself against an aggressive and powerful opponent like Michael.
Michael Pham:
The Beast from the East. Michael Pham has a killer instinct that you simply can’t teach. While a quiet and down to earth lad outside of the ring, he’s anything but that in it with an extremely aggressive style that aims to get you jumping out of your seats in apprehension. He’s recently come from a win but will he be able to keep up his winning streak and successfully defend his English Title against Ryan Ward? Come down to Super MTC and see for yourself !
Ryan Li
Ryan ‘ The LION ‘ Li is very like his nickname with the strength, courage and majesty of the lion. He has a very straight forward mind-set when he steps into the ring: to win. He doesn’t question or even have a fleeting doubt about it. Every time he steps in, he will do everything in his utmost power to win even if that means stumbling forward inch by inch. His heart will capture yours as he gives the fight his entire being.
Sam Gough
Sam Gough is an extremely composed young man with a very technical style. He could not be more of a polar opposite for Ryan and an apt match for him as well. He’s recently come back from training in Thailand for half a year and been training since he was 14. With a record of 9-2, he hopes to keep that number 2 the same and make a statement with Ryan. There has never been two more different fighters in the ring and it would be extremely exciting to see how these two warriors battle it out!

Paul Barber
Relatively new to the Muay Thai scene, Paul Barber is a very aggressive and dangerous southpaw and yet manages to be a versatile fighter with the ability to adapt towards any opponent in the ring at will. Paul demonstrated this in the last MTC by beating Thai Hoang from Team Tieu. He’s also just come from a win in Thailand by KO so let’s see what he brings back to the UK ! Fighting out of Benfleet Muay Thai, he will be participating in his first ever A class fight on the night and he promises to deliver! No pressure, Paul.
Marcus Compton
A golden belt british champion , Marcus is on a winning streak of 3 fights ever since he joined his new gym : Superpetch, one of the top teams in the UK. Marcus has recently come off a very strong win against Femi Akinade. Marcus used to fight at the 67kg category but has now moved down into a lighter weight and has improved greatly. During his last fight, he demonstrated that his clinch has improved massively and it would be exciting to watch what new skills he brings into the ring this MTC !
The next match-up is one of absolutely massive proportions. It is between the two champions from the UK and Italy. Below are their write-ups :
Matthew Tieu
Matthew Tieu is one of if not the most composed fighter from the Team Tieu. He delivers each blow with precision and calculated intent. Each shot is dangerously thrown with the intent to hurt somebody. While he may be one of the lighter fighters out there, his prowess is not to be underestimated as his kicks are so strong they can break arms. There is a reason he’s the United Kingdom’s No.1.
Ivano Siviero
This Italian FIMT and FISCAM champion has a record of 21 wins and 39 matches total. He will be challenging Matthew Tieu in a full rules Muay Thai match for the World Title WRSA while defending his IMTKA title. Known to have a very fearless and aggressive style, it would be exciting to watch this match-up between two champions and whether or not he can successfully defend his World Title against Matthew.

Marcus Powell
Marcus Powell is looking to be the next big thing in Muay Thai. With a whopping record of 20 wins and 4 losses, he is certainly on the way by being the WKN European Champion, Southern area, ISKA Four nations, Super Fight Series Champions. Here is a direct quote from Marcus himself : “ This will be my first time at KOKO and I am looking to do a number on Ricky Hamilton. I want to be number 1 in England”. ‘Nuff said.
Ricky Hamilton
Ricky Hamilton has a few titles under his belt as well such as being the WKA British Thai Champ, ISKA medallist two years in a row and in the ICO. He’s stopped Karil Marchenko from the famous Kickfighters gym, beat Pete Irvin and Sean Rogers for the British Title. He’s defeated Jafar Makri and even Bernie Mendieta who’s the WBC British Thai Champ ! As you can see, Ricky has been in a lot of wars. But the question is : Can he overcome this one?
