Damn, Gregs fight was close; could have gone either way.
Pakorn tying up a lot, he landed some beautiful kicks but Greg definitely pushing the action.
A performance like that definitely spurs interest for a bout with Liam Harrison.
He could have some great fights in Glory with that whole weight division, Mosab Amrani etc.

Jordan Watson is a beast. I saw him years ago live in London against Harvey Harra and some french dude, and have followed pretty much all his fights since then and enjoyed every one, but he looked outstanding there.
Great shape, super fast reaction time, and mixing it up, not just using a play-it-safe style.
Loved it.

Marco S as much as I like Greg Wooten I cant agree that fight was close ,from rnd 3 on Pakorn boxed comfortably for me:)

I agree Paul, Greg was never in any real trouble but he lost on points quite clearly.

was an easy decision for the judges.

not to say Greg doesn't deserve to be in there with the best though, because he certainly does.

for me Liam would take a points victory against Greg (would love to see this fight happen)

I know it's a redundant argument, cause they obviously fought under traditional that rules, but given Pakorn accumulated his victory on the strength of clinching and throws, if it were under modified rules or K1 rules etc, they wouldn't score, and given that Greg pushed forward more, it's not inconceivable to think he'd get the nod under that rule set.

I mean, personally, just watching the fight, Greg was the aggressor - correct me if I'm wrong, but that's how it seemed to me.
Pakorn was clever with his timing getting inside for body locks and throws, and he had some great kicks, but that's how I saw it at least.

Yep it's a redundant argument alright. May as well compare boxing or UFC rules to Muay Thai and try and officiate a Muay Thai bout under those rule structures.

It was a clear and cruisy win. Greg far bigger and very awkward but his rhythm and technique is light years behind top Thais.

Yep he did Chris and bloody well done, styles make fights and Pet being a clincher I figured could be good for Greg with elbow,Pakorn fought a different game and was smart on outside and closed inside of with grips,I havent seen Greg vs Pet but knowing Pets style of clinching It could be how it panned out?.well done to Bill Greg and KO team,on another note Petboonchu comes over as a very nice natured guy:)
