Any thoughts on using the seated rope-climber....?

We have one at my gym, it's just been refurbished and is as hard as hell to pull on. I use it for either 1 minute circuits, or 5, 10, 20 minute workout.

I'm hoping this will really help clinch strength, any thoughts on this?

Glad you found the exercises useful Travs. :)

A seated rope climber is a useful strength-endurance tool for fighters. The seated position will engage a useful core/hip flexor action - although the grip requirement does differ from Muay Thai, as explained in my article.

I'd recommend repeated sprint intervals rather than continuous longer duration use...
