Interesting throw?
surely easier to throw him the other direction?
not sure why he wouldn't throw a straight knee from that range tbh..thought the outward/side knees were only really used once already in the clinch?
If you throw him the other direction he has a supporting leg to land on and remain standing?
that's my point if his right leg is up, his left is the supporting leg , if you pull him to your right and back then he should be totally unbalanced
slam his grounded lag with a shin and put him through the floor!
Hook your arm under the knee strike as opposed to over. When you get that the slam is 10x nastier.
I've tried a variation on this throw and it's pretty bloody effective, but as with most things it's all about timing.
My preference is to just push the knee inwards with the left hand rather than catching under the knee. And push the side of the head with the right hand.
Maybe it suits me better being a southpaw. I don't really like 'catching' the knee, as I feel it's a bad habit to get into where you can be eating a lot of knees this way, similar to catching every kick that comes at you.
