I thought Showdown 14 was my last show. However, after so many people telling me Showdown is one their favourite events, I feel I have to carry on. So moving forward I am pleased to announce an explosive Showdown 15 on the 19th September, Octogan Sheffield. Just to give you a taster of fights Reece Mcallister UK number 1 v Bradley Stanton the winner of the 8 man tournament, fighting for a vacant world title.

This has got to be the best domestic fight out there at the moment, any predictions???

Not trying to upset you and understand the work you must put into making these shows BUT you know that in 10 months time there is a vacant world title at their weight?
How?
Is it a made up title or do you have a crystal ball?

Incredible fight. Hope both fighters make it there fully fight fit and put on an outstanding show.
The last showdown event was great so with this fight headlining it is set up to be even better.
Can't wait for it.

reece crushes brad in the similar way i expect to see brad beat sewell in thailand. just different levels!

would rather see reece step up to challenge watson at 70kg and maybe brad fight someone like turbill or david tieu

Agree ^ Reece beat the guy that brad just lost to within 2 rounds didn't he?
Reece v Watson / Harrison / turner / all would be great

Reece is a brilliant fighter, as is Brad.
Turner's a different weight, Harrison's a legend (and is fighting legends) and Jordan is a world beater (handled Moxon who beat Reece).

Honestly, though there are some good 'england v england' matches to be had, in my opinion, Brad vs Reece is the best at that weight and although Reece is undoubtedly brilliant I can't predict a winner. On paper Reece will make short work of Brad, but Brad has a great record, a big heart and an incredible team. Kudos on the fight.

The rest are either different weights or at different stages of their career, so Marko's argument is null.

This is the best UK fight at that weight. Both are great lads and top fighters and I wish them both all the best.

I think Reece deserves a shot at Liam or Watson , Reece beat Tim Thomas with class and not long back there was much hype over a possible Tim v Liam match.
Wooton was on a lower level than the likes of Harrison and Watson but took the big step up to fight Pakorn losing on points then beat petchboonchu not long after, you have to fight them to become like them!

I don't. It's clear that both would be good fights though there are two different equations. Whether the fights would be good (1) and whether it's in the best interest of both of the fighters (2).

Liam is fighting the top, top names (the legends) as he has fought and also beaten legends himself and Jordan has the ability to be the pound for pound best in the world. If Moxon beats Ristie in his next fight Jordan will be in line for (even) bigger things. Though the fans would enjoy Jordan vs Reece, of which I'm sure Jordan would win, it's not the smartest move for Jordan (or Liam) is it?

Consequently, you are obvious a fan of Reece and bias although I understand why. Reece is a brilliant fighter. The future is certainly his.

Don't think you can say that Reece crushes brad, both are top fighters and although Reece has the more experience fighting top flight opponents than brad does, you can't count brad out. Yeah, he lost to Crice and Reece stopped him in the first but that don't mean much in a fight at this level. Reece has looked great in the top king World Series but brad is in Thailand for 6 months which can only take his game to the next level.
I think this is the best domestic fight at the minute at the weight and has been on the cards for a while, originally planned for the main event last year so why not get it on for a world title.
Cheers
