nice pictures ...ı made some nostalgie...by the way, was this "sakad" the one with the highest fight record?..ı remember samart and fanta (the fighter with saucy,attractive shows during fights..)

muzaffer yamali, brilleman were from mejiro and tekin from chakuriki?..tekin and muzaffer were the idols for turkish fighters once upon a time...

ronnie green ...excellent fighter ...

there is no doubt that "sakad, samart ,payap ,dieselnoi " were the maestros of the game (frankly speaking, ı never liked fanta too much...)

P.S. Dirk oh my photo master ! hahah but true ! can you help me ?? everytime i scan a pic: in Adobe photo suite abd post it on A/X it comes out like a honey MONSTER size !!!! aaaaaarrrgh !! hahaah cheers any help ? / ideas ? please ! thanks me ! :)

Hi Sandy

When you scan your picture you.

A. Allow a minute for the scanner to scan the picture and once you see the picture in the Photoshop window you can safely close the MUSTEK scanner controls window.

B. You will be able to view the picture in the Navigator Window that is
within Photoshop.

C. Be sure to double click the Blue Bar at the top of the picture so that you can view as much as possable of the window.

D. In the Navigator Window at the bottom of the window there is located a slider and a button on each end be sure to click the right until the percentage
reads 100% The picture will get bigger.

Then you have to Resize the Image...


A. To resize an image once you have completed the above steps Click Image at
the top of the Photoshop Window were it says File Edit Image ect.

B. Then CLICK IMAGE SIZE

c. A Window will open with a veriety of image size options

D. The Width or Height of the Image can be brought down to 400 or 500 hundred
pixels the size will variety depending on desired size.

E. Once this is completed You can Hit Enter or Click OK.

F. Once you hit OK the image will resize and now it is ready to be saved in the desired format...

Dirk they are awesome shots you are the king of MT history.
I remember seeing Sakads fight with Green and how quiet the crowd were.
Fanta had some great fights and he fought just about every one,I remember seeing him fight American Don Wilson and everytime he knocked him down he helped Wilson to his feet.Wilson was serious,while Fanta looked like he was having a great time and even mocking him at times.When Fanta half put on some pressure Wilson couldn't handle the pressure and would go down and they still called it a draw(fought in HK where the rules were if both fighters were still standing it was a draw)

what the guys are telling about the "book" might work well, since there is nobody who has such a good,reasoable collection...my friend, just try to make a single book about the accurate history events of muay thai -kickboxing happened between west and east...you have the opportunity of living in a country who is one of the pioneer countries, made the first contacts in chronological aspects and also you are just a moving library with photos, magazines,books, documents starting from 1975's...

You are the best!!!! This is unbelievable.
Somsong fights and pictures are so rare, although he was one of the greatest fighter (he had over 300 fights with just a few losses).
I can 't believe you found such a relic. :)
Were you familiar with Klongpattaya? He was on of the best high kicker I have ever seen. His left high kick was one of the most devastating one.
