Hi Frank,
well to tell you the truth, I dont like MT fighters fight KB rules especialy Thais. People that do not know better than take that as the ultimate outcome and bash MT for loosing to KB. I never take lowkick fights for my fighters as I think it is totally different, can you imagine Rudo fight without knees and clinch, he would get killed. As farest I know Zam has only fought 3 matches with knees and none with elbows. 1. match lost on RSC knee to the head Kit Cope
2.won on points against JWP - the decision is still causing flamboyant discussions about how JWP just kneed him on will.
3. K-1 fight against Kraus - now officialy it was a knee fight but both Zam and Kraus do not knee so it was not not a knee match.
Respect to Zam for fighting the best Thais and MT stylist under the KB rules and beating them, but his ability is very questionable in the oposite situation.
I think if he does really want to be the best he really has to find the curage and get himself to THA learn how to clinch and try his luck in Lumpiny and Radjamadern. Thats were the top of the world fights. Winning in anyother competition is of a much lesser value for me and others/the ones that know/ I believe.
Frank when you were in Italy did you speak to Zam about his future fights in MT or maybe K-1 rules?
Is his team considering fight him in THA or not. I hope he will not become one of those protected fighters.
What is your opinion on all this Frank?
Please say Hi to Alex for me and tell him I will send him a mail soon.
Thanx
