Only got home late monday night so I missed posting yesterday, but just to add my "two penneth" - well done to Liam. Cracking bout - both guys knocked lumps out of one another. Liam got dropped in the 4th by a great head kick but recovered and put the Thai down himself in the 4th. Liam capitalised on this and Ko'd him in the 5th. A very exciting bout.

This was a very mature performance from a young up and coming fighters and his toughest test yet.

With regard to Frankie Hudders fight, I saw the Thai weigh in - he was 57.5kg and Frankie was 65 ..... but I think there was some mix up and Stephan Fox said they expected Frankie to be 63 (which I think he was last time) and they though the Thai would come in heavier. Also - I know that Frankie was prepared to fight whoever was put in front of him and that he was disappointed when he heard about the weight difference.

However - The Thai Frankie fough had over 300 fights and he was awesome. I believe he is NokweeDavy's brother. He did not allow Frank to use his weight advantage - pressed forward all the time forcing the fight into the clinch and using clever technique to wear Frankie down. It was an absolutely brilliant fight and nothing was taken away from it by the fact that the guys were different weights. Many people though the Thai won, but I dont think anyone had a problem with a draw.

Other than the weight difference with this fight, I though that the matching overall was very good.

I agree that the organisation needs to be sorted out and the whole thing needs to be run more professionally. The WMC guys - Ralph Beale etc ran the fights side of it very well and should be congratulated on a good job but it was the other stuff that needed sorting.

I was asked to Judge the first kickboxing bout Riad Azzawi V John Sheilds, and I gave it to Shields. Another judge gave it to Shields too and the third judge gave it a draw. I was therefore very surprised when they announced the winner as Azzawi!!!!! On the basis of my honest decision making absolutely no difference to the outcome of the fight, I refused to judge the other kickboxing fight, which I have to say was a joke anyway. I will leave it to other people to speculate as to what happened.

I reckon there were 4 or maybe 5 fights that were good enough for TV - I hope to goodness that the rest dont get shown!

Well done to Jacko for pulling off the show, but I hope that he will learn some lessons from this one and organise things better next time!
