Sandy- Masato Used to fight MT rules before he was signed by K1 after 20 or so fights. Now he only fights in K1-Max.
Bukkao was awesome- he annihilated Kohi in the semi final in a similar fashion as Kaolan did 2 years ago then made Masato look way out of his depth in the final. His ability to dodge punches and close the gap was incredible and he oozed class and dominance much as a ringmaster in a circus.
It was a total sham that it was called a draw after 3 rounds as Bukkao clearly won in terms of everything- workrate, power, damage and looked in much better condition throughout it all. He eased up on a totally wasted Masato near the end of R3, as Thais do, but I think this may have worked against him in the judges' eyes as it made it look like Masato was still in the fight. When just a 1-0 in favour of Bukkao was called, the Thai was really pissed off and went into the extra round really fired up and baically smashed Masato around the ring at will.
It was really funny- when the last 10 seconds clapper went he beckoned Masato to come forward, then turned like a Matador as Masato fell halfway through the ropes. Then Bukkao stood behind him in the buttfcuk position and glared right at the judge who was sitting directly below, sending out a clear message.
At the final decision Masato looked relieved that he did not have to do another round.
I was dissapointed that Masato showed himslf to be such a sore loser as he ran back to the dressing room afterwards while all the other fighters gathered in the ring around Bukkao.
