brilliant show, high drama and excitement throughout.

gotta mention a few, the gordon smith fight was real rocky stuff, micky price came out guns a blazing ,gave smith no end of trouble in the first and hammered him in the second, witha resouning 8 count the fight seemed in the bag , when his stamina went, smith turned the tables on on price and "rag dolled him" in the third, by this time price was dead on his feet and retired in his corner.

the greame ness danniel bisset was also briliant, full thai rules it waas nice and sedate in the beginning both giving and taking equally, thier was a grapple and ness seemed to slip and go down , he grabbed his nose and when he got up thier was a cut on the bridge and immediatte swelling, the first went to bissset. ness picked up in the second and managed to evade any punches or elbows to the nose to take the second round, then bammm right hook inthe early third and bisset goes down with his lights out.

rung v mucully, ian put in a briliant performance , probably one o the best i have seen and boy was he ready for it , buit rung was just too good in every dept and while ian certainly gave a superb account for himself , rung was just too good for him.

matt duncan v james doolan, last time i saw matt fight he was outstanding and went toe to toe hell for leather for the 5 rounds, he started of in the same fashion only to find james came for the same kind o fight, mid first round matt went down (hook i think) and stayed down, well doen to james

last was colin carson v dougie clarke, the fight was 1 sided in the favour of carson from the start during the first clarke went down clutching his ribs obviously winded and by a heroic effort made it back up and continued, he fought on reguardless of the barrage that was thrown at him up until, the second half of the third when ref kenny burnett stopped it, as tough and as determined as clarke was , he was taking a pounding. carson took the fight well , but i thik people will remember clarke for his sheer balls, he took the fight at 2 weeks notice against a much more experienced opponent, im sure hel be back and a lot better.

thier were a lot moer cracking fights but that was my personal highlights of the day.

well doen john , herr bob and everyone else for a cracking show,

stevie
