Congratulations to Tim on retaining his world title. It was a great fight to watch. 5 rounds of non-stop action. Overall, Tim showed why he is champion, but it has to be said that the gap between him and Lloyd was not huge by any means. I really believe that Lloyd can use today as a learning experience and will hopefully become one of our nations 'Greats' in the near future.

Big round of applause to the officials as well. I thought that the ISKA would have sent their own people, but was impressed to see all Scottish officials looking after the title bout, and giving a very creditable and fair minded performance. It shows that fighters from around the world can come to Scotland and be sure of being looked after by really professional judges and referees.
Have to say that the standard of officials is reaching an all together 'higher level' these days. Whatever you guys are doing ..... please keep it up!
