In the 40-56kg category, congrats to the champ who is Mr. Mohd. Ali from up north Kelantan state.
Ali is a Muaythai fighter who fights once every 1/2 weeks.

Our team member Khoo Meng Yang made it as the 1st runner-up in the final and lost via 5 rounds decision.

1st prelimary rounds, 2nd preliminary rounds and quarter finals was last minute amended to 5 x 2 minutes rounds with 1 minute rest, whereas semi finals and final remained 5 x 3 minute rounds with 2 minute rest.

A tough journey for Khoo who has made all of us proud for his fighting spirit. He carries injuries over each fight, having fought 2 experienced Muaythai fighters in quarter finals and semi finals.
He had 4 out of 5 fights going into 5 rounds decision in 2.5 days.
