Well done Rab; a very good fighter and a really sound bloke. The fight was on a dinner show organised by Tommy McCarthy in Aberdeen last Friday (Tommy actually fought on the show himself for charity). Rab's original opponent pulled out at the last minute and Guy Ramsey stepped in as a late replacement. Guy put up a good performance but Rab's kicks started to tell on Guy and he decided to retire after the 3rd round (I think). Guy was fit, as he always keeps himself in shape, but not fight 100% fit and Rabs's attacks began to sap his resistance. Rab deserved this title shot and I am sure he will go on to defend the title.
