For those who don't get central or are not going to see it on the net.

The show came over very positively indeed. I didn't recognise all the coaches featured...and some looked a lot like they were doing karate, but really that didn't matter at all as it all looked controlled, disciplined and the coaches were all positive in selling the sport. There was actually very little negative input in the introduction. Ellis Cashmore didn't really manage to put too much of a negative spin on things (he was the only descenting voice) and the introduction gave a positive image overall. Sandy and Jeff definitely did a really great job and came over as sensible and responsible people. The paediatrician and child psychologist appeared to have very weak arguments. For me Sandy and Jeff definitely appeared to win the debate hands down and our sport came out well. Sandy didn't try to sell himself or act the clown, he just sold the sport well, which was great. Thank you Sandy (and Jeff) your preparation and media experience paid off.
