Dougie, that is wrong on so many levels! When the guys asked me to do the beechwear parade, I thought why not, would be a laugh, but had no idea you were going up in that, when I seen you going up my instinct was to run to the stage and tackle you off, but soon stopped at the thought of getting your tackle in my face!

Thanks for that Amy! Did I offend you when you were at Fairtex or something? LOL.

To be honest, when we came up with "Power of Scotland" as a name, we were struggling to find a name to say something about the event etc., and ended up just going with it thinking that it would be a one off and didn't really matter. We wanted to give it a Scottish identity, because there was loads of big shows in England and we wanted to try and show we could do it up here to. Then a simple play on the National Anthym of "Flower of Scotland".

After the first event exceeded expectaions in terms of scale and popularity, then it was already to late to change the name. Everyone naturally changed it to "POS" or "Power of", if you look through Ax you can see everyone shortening it and the brand slowly developed. It was only at the last event where I consiously adopted the new brand. I've no real skills in Marketing apart from doing a clas when at Uni, but the only reason I hesitated changing it was because of the retail connection as Liam said. But I like the POS thing, it doesn't really mean anything, but its another side of brand and it still stands for Power of Scotland and the website is going to remain the same. Sorry, I'll stop boring you!

BTW, I've not had any constructive feedback this time, I usually have quite a few emails and like to use them to try and improve things for next time. I have my own things I need to jump on and address, but any constructive critisism would be great!
