hi to everyone i found this site when some one passed it on to me,a great way to be in contact with old friends and associates.A big hello to Sandy holt and Phil Glover i just thought i would briefly take you back to the begining 1979 at Rotters in Manchester was were i had my first fight,do you remember how it was we all lined up and Danny Conner would match you up,you fight him and you fight him and so on and so on you would look down the line trying to get a glimpse of who you were fighting.Any way i fought this big black kid {I had never seen a black guy before only on telly and i crapped my self} but i won my fight stopping him in the first round and that was that.This was the beggining and what followed was un believable {but ill tell you that next time i write} great to be on the site and speak with you soon steve taberner
