Hi all,

we have once again been working hard in conjunction with the UKMF (United Kingdom MuayThai Federation) to bring IFMA (International Federation of MuayThai Amateur) to Cambridge.
We hope the platform for instructors to propel their students into the Amateur MuayThai Games held all over the world, will continue to grow successfully with your support and commitment.

I have been given the privilege to announce for the first time ever, the qualifying team attending the competitions will be fully funded by the federation.
As you can imagine with the next UKMF English Amateur Team attending the IFMA World Championships in Bangkok being fully funded, places are going to be hotly contested for.

The date has been set, the officials are ready, the medical staff will be onsite, the equipment is supplied, and the opportunity is now... will you be there?

If you have any fighters you wish to attend this competition, then please email me their details (Name, Age, Weight, Gender, Experience).

We wish to ensure that everyone in the country has the opportunity to get their fighters onto this new team, so please be aware of the following:

 All fighters details required by no later than 18th June 2009, Matching begins 2nd May 2009
 Fighters if successful on this elimination must also attend the elimination on the 24th October
 Fighters must be over the age of 15 years to make the team
 Fighters must hold a valid British passport to make the team
 Fighters must be under the age of 35 years to make the team
 Fighters must be able to attend the team training sessions to make the team
 Any fighter can enter the event as long as they hold a valid UKMF license on the day
 Fighters may be required to compete more than once on the event to secure their place on the team
 Fighters must be available to attend the competition in Thailand for the full period to make the team
 Fighters must be able to sustain their fighting weight for the full period of the competition in Thailand to make the team
 Fighters must have a minimum of ten (this may be increased to 15-20 depending on the demand) fights to make the team
 Your fighters details must be put forward for this event, to make the England Team going to the IFMA World Championships in Bangkok.

Just to confirm; anyone, from any background, from any association, with any fight record can attend this competition.
Please also remember these are the eliminations for next year’s IFMA European championships in Latvia.

If you have any questions regarding the UKMF Amateur Teams, Eliminations or International Competitions, please do ask.

Yours in Muay Thai
