Ok people, it's 03:21, I'm absolutely steaming but I will TRY and post the results as I remember them...
Gary McKinley (Aberdeen MT) v Ed Fisher (Carlisle MT)
Sponsored by Clyde Scaffolding
5 x 1.5 mins @ 59kg's
*Stoppage WIN for FISHER* (Well done Ed, his trainer Stu and all the Carlisle folk who came along to support)
2)
Lindsay Stirling (KKBA) v Yvonne Wilson (Wossobama Ayr)
Sponsored by M&J Blacksmiths
5 x 1.5 mins @ 67kg's
*5th Rnd Stoppage Win for WILSON, (Well Done Yvonne, her trainer Alan Currie and the wossobama team). Paul Kelly, sorry you couldn't drink last night mate, I saw you had your eyes on the ring girl but hey... your fighting in 2 weeks!
*I must add though that Lindsay put in an exceptional performance for her first fight! We've been friends a long time and I'm so proud of her!
3)
Stuart McAhill (KKBA) v John Ferguson (SMTC Springburn)
Sponsored by LSK Supplies
5 x 1.5 mins @ 70kg's
I think this was a MAJORITY win for McAhill (KKBA)
4)
Crawford Hercus (KKBA) v Scott Fraser (AMAG)
Sponsored by McGinleys Bar
5 x 1.5 mins @ 88kg's
A GOOD Result for Scott Fraser here, taking a narrow points victory! Big Crawford started strong, displaying some accurate boxing which Scott was able to weather and he replied with decent kicks and knees.

5)
Ricky Jackson (KKBA) v Steve Barbieri (Carlisle MT)
Sponsored by McNairs Builders Merchant
5 x 1.5 mins @ 67 kg’s
Steve Barbieri took the decision on this one, well done Steve (and his coach Stu Holden). Really gotta hand it to Ricky Jackson though, Ricky turned 40 this year and this may have been the fastest paced fight of the evening, exceptional performance from both guys and from memory, Steve won this one with more effect in the clinch.
6)
Brian Tottie (Caledonian MT) v Daniel Rigby (Aberdeen MT)
Sponsored by FSL Fabrication Specialist
5 x 1.5 mins @ 70 kg's
A unanimous decision for Brian Tottie. Well done Brian. He just looked generally to be sharper than Daniel from Aberdeen who was in it until the end and gave a good account of himself throughout.
7)
Mani Singh (KKBA) v Simon Fraser (SMTC, Airdrie)
Sponsored by JJ Auto’s
5 x 1.5 mins @ 64kg's
Now this was an ALL ACTION Bout, absolutely everyone was on their feet for this one. Both fighters displayed some sharp and accurate boxing combining with strong (equally matched) low kicks. I'm glad I wasn't judging this one as whenever Scott landed a clean kick on Mani, he would return with another and vice versa. I was scoring this one exceptionally closely until the 4th where Mani sustained a nasty cut to the inside (eye side) of the bridge of his nose. Doctor and referee concurred that the contest should be stopped, awarding the victory to Simon Fraser. Well done Simon, his coach Bobby and once again may I apologise for introducing your gym incorrectly, God knows where I got that from.
8)
Mescho Donko (KKBA) v Keith Middleton (Aberdeen MT)
Sponsored by Kirkintilloch Rangers Club
5 x 1.5 mins 75kg’s
The main event and an exciting one at that. Like I said previously, this was actually a rematch with Keith having taken the first fight by 3rd (or 4th) round stoppage, can't quite remember.
Last night however, both boxers started fairly evenly and Keith only began to edge out a very narrow Majority decision in the later part of the fight. Mischo having broken his arm in the 2nd. Mischo fought on well, scoring mostly with knees in the clinch.
Keith did well, remained composed and earned his victory.
That said, I'm especially surprised with Mischo's performance, he co-promoted this event, cornered for some fighters and then jumped in with an opponent who had already beaten him. That takes some serious kahunas in my book.
Like I said people, I am drunk and MAY have got a couple of decisions wrong (although I don't think so). Well done Stevie McLaughlin & Mescho Donko on a cracking promotion. All of Stevie's own guys had tough opposition and every one of them gave a strong account of themselves and of Stevies club.
Another top night in The Waterside Club... fighters, officials, medics, ring-girl, sponsors and crowd all made for a really entertaining evening... Well Done!
