womens mt world titles, what are peoples opinions on womens world title rules with regard to elbows and 3 minute rounds, who should decide etc etc

my only opinion on this is that muaythai isnt wimbeldon why should women have it easier with less rounds?
some sanctioning bodies still dont allow elbows for women --are we living in the dark ages or are they right?
just thought it might make an interesting thread as fc rules still allow women to fight 12 rounds for a world title.
