I have spoken to all the relevant people before I posted this and I regret to inform you that the match between myself and John Orchard will now not go ahead.
This is at no fault of John Orchard or Carl Samms.
I came to the decision the other day, as there is a lot of politics and badmouthing behind close doors in FC Kickboxing for a long time and a few other reasons which just tipped the boat for me and made my decision easier.
I will not go into the finer points on a public forum, but to be honest I have had enough of it at this point in time.
I want to have a break from FC Kickboxing for 6 months and see how I feel about it at the beginning of next year.
I personally feel I have proven myself not just in the UK, but worldwide in FC from Light Heavyweight right up to Super Cruiserweight by being undefeated in Pro FC and the 1st guy in a long LONG time to bring the WAKO PRO FC World title back to the UK and unifying it with the ISKA FC World Title.

FC does not get the credibility it deserves even though credible fighters and champions work just as hard as any other in sports which get massive TV coverage.
It’s just not right or fair, but it’s because people/camps/promoters can not or do not want to work together.

I also have the opportunity to fight under Andree Maanaart & Mejiro Gym in K1 bouts in Holland, which I have wanted to do for a long time. The sport of K1 excites me like FC Kickboxing once did and to be honest the money is a whole lot better and I do have a family and kids to think of which will always be my 1st priority above everything else.
I will still defend my FC World titles when the time arises off credible challenges which the organisations have agreed to and all FC enquiries still go through CJP.

The show on Oct 10 is still going ahead with the Marty Cox Jnr vs Gary Hamilton fight in the main event with a full line up TBA.
I will not be fighting FC on the show or any show for the next few months again unless I HAVE to defend my World titles which I will do.

This decision should not reflect on John Orchard as he is a great fighter and champion, but my decision came from circumstances surrounding FC itself.
I can not give 100% to a fight or sport that I no longer 100% believe in.

I hope you all understand and respect my decision.
