Dissapointing!

Very disapointing given all the hype from Marlon about being Pound 4 Pound. In my opinion John would of beat Marlon that I am sure of but pulling out of a fight once you have committed to it after it has been publicised to this level is a little Embarassing to say the least!

The only genuine reason for pull out could be at this stage is serious injury or personal circumstance which would prevent Marlon from training. But with 3 months to go?

Once you commit to a show as a promoter, coach or fighter you should attend. Call me Old School but that is the way it is. Any other excuse or reason is poor and not very professional.

If you had made this decision before the fight was agreed or hyped then some people would of been more sympathetic. But after is poor and as such will leave everyone to come to their own conclusions about why you have pulled out.

Particulary as you talk about credible challenges well this is one surely!!! not neccessarily to your ISKA & WAKO Title but you as a World Class Fighter.

Given Marlon was fighting in his own town. If Game Promotions had promoted this fight and show properly then it could of been an opportunity to earn more money surely than fighting on someone else show abroad. Maybe not as easy option!
