I have to agree with Dean . My initial reaction was more one of dissapointment at a fight being off that i really wanted to see.
But looking looking at the situation properly, i think it's obvious to the educated whats going on.
It's business i understand that ...but it doesn't make it morally right .
If Marlon fights John and loses (which just in my personal opinion he definatly would have)then all the K1 opportunities dissapear . A big risk , and from a financial/managers point of view probably a mistake.
I assume with it being Marlon's show that contracts would have been his responsibility , no mention of them yet ?
i personally don't believe the dissilusionment line either, if true then i dont think i would want to fight at all , or if i thought i would win ,bow out proving all my doubters wrong .
To be honest i have never met Marlon so i can't speak on him as a person .
But after listening to his self promotion on here about 'world domination' and pound for pound champ status..this move seems even more unbelievable . If respect in the fight game is the goal then ducking the widely perceived best wont earn it . If it's just money , then it's the right decision i guess.
Being 'Game' obviously means different things in different cities?
