I have a couple opinions on this - 3 months i feel, whatever the reason is sufficient notice to pull out of a fight. I think Marlon may have realised he'd bitten off more than he could chew. Orchard in my opinion is one of the pound for pound best fighters around, however i wouldn't class Marlon in the same bracket. Maybe he realised this too and decided to get out. Orchard would have been to slick and to quick for Marlon and i predicted a late stoppage. Marlon would have had size advantage by stepping down but i think Orchard would have made him look slow and clumsy. Good luck to Marlon when he turns to K1. I hope he fullfills his dreams and earns the money he thinks he will. I'm not convinced however and would predict a return to FC after a few lessons learnt.
