Apologies, Thank you's and Congratulations!

Before anything else I feel compelled to offer a sincere apology to Alexander and the Scottish contingent for Qas's MC and his over zealous antics during Qasim's ring entrance. I had not entered the room at this time and did not see the extent of the MC's taunting and provoking. I am extremely sorry for any offence this may have caused.
Not making excuses but in my defence I had told him before hand not to go over the half way point of the ring and to give Alexander and the Scottish corner their space. In the heat of the moment and with the euphoria of the crowd he seemed to have forgot this.
I spoke to him today and he said he did not mean any offence and it was just part of the show. He and Alexander spoke after the show and shared a photo together but I fully understand all concerns expressed to me on the night.
I apologise unreservedly again.

Moving on..................

Well, what can I say, another Epic night at Unleashed II Collision course. Carlsberg don't promote kickboxing shows but if they did I think they would ask to co-promote with the Unleashed team.
Thank you to Dave Whitfield and all involved with the Unleashed promotion for their hospitality and the opportunity for the USKA fighters to do what they do.
The venue, facility's and production were fantastic and it is great to at last to have a Absolute Adrenaline standard event here in the Midlands. Long live the Unleashed brand!

Secondly thanks to a great USKA and Bai Lang contingent of the crowd who raised the roof and the fighters spirits every time the home fighters stepped to the ring.

Finally I would like to thank the IKF for once again showing why they are ahead of the race in terms of officiating and policing events. Thoroughly professional from start to finish. Weigh in, medicals, Judging (not a bad decision all night from what I could see or hear) and an excellent job by referee Mr Wayne Rodrigues who does not miss a trick and was top draw as man in the middle.

I had a good night at the office, firstly with my amateur fighter Mushtaq 'Mushy' Younis turning a bad first round into a spectacular second round landing an overhand right hand to knock out his opponent Mike Shellis from Cotterill Martial Arts gym. Mushy takes another step closer to hopefully a Midland Area title shot sometime in the new year.

Lee Whitfield turned in a brilliant punch perfect performance against the really tough and talented French Champion Mirac Sever in a really well matched fight. Lee's record was 8 -2 from 10 starts and Mirac's was 13 - 2 from 15 starts with a handy win over Graham Smith on his CV. That's 4 out of 4 for Lee with USKA and hopefully now sets up an ISKA English title fight for him at the end of November in Walsall.

In the main event Qasim 'the Dream' Beg Vs the Scottish Champion Alexander White, the stage had been set for a classic with emotions running high in the build up to the fight with Alexander's postings on here.
I had deliberately avoided posting on Ax in the build up to add fuel to the fire but instead showed Qasim the Ax posts daily from my phone which motivated him even more to train hard and do his talking in the ring.
Thank you Alexander for doing my job for me in terms of mentally putting Qasim in the frame he needed to be in to beat you. Much appreciated mate.
I've got to give Alexander some props though, he was durable and took some serious shots over 6 punishing rounds. Qas told me before hand that he wanted to make him pay for all the smack talking and I think he did that. With 30 seconds left to go in the fight Qas 'Unleashed' and had Alexander out on his feet. 10 more seconds and he would have been sleeping.
Up until a week before the bout we were under the impression that it was to be fought over 8 rounds only then to be told that Alexander and his team would not budge on 6 saying not to worry because Qasim was getting knocked out in 3. If it was 8 rounds I have no doubt that Alexander would have been on a 30 day medical suspension right now.
I'm not really into Trash talk but if your going to talk the talk, make sure you can walk the walk kid!

Can't wait for the DVD so that I can watch the other fights. I heard there were some fantastic matches.

Well done again to everyone who was involved in making Unleashed II - Collision Course a great night to remember!
