We need to look long term here.

It is really only recently that the sport has taken off somewhat, although it is still very much 'cult' compared to what it can become.

A few years down the line, when our top fighters of today have their own gyms and have the relevant experience to teach the sport to the highest level, iss when we will start seeing a difference in not just a handful of UK fighters being able to take on the top Thais and give them a fight, but many UK fighters will be able to do this.

This is simply because there are more fighting now that are doing it the right way, as proven by their ability win or lose (as is the norm in this sport), that these individuals then pass on their knowledge to another ten individuals each, for example, and it spirals from there.

Now is really only the beginning imo.
