HI we are now representives for Lee Coville, Lee has told us to say that he wished he had been at the show and hopefully in the future he will be appearing on one of these great events, well done to everyone, Lee has read this article with interest and asked us to tell you that he trains with Dekker and has been now for many years when he is in Europe, Ramon told him he never trained at any Thai camps ever, Cor never wanted him to go to any and he did not need to as Cors training was enough, on may occasions when he fought in Thailand he trained at the hotel, also he did not trust the Thai way of training, Cor never had a Thai trainer also or trained in Thailand as with many other Dutch Fighters both from the Golden Glory teams and Super8. Very rarely will you see Dutch Fighters in Thailand. Only those not under certain management or no management .When i went to Holland one thing i noticed was that The Dutch do it there way and dont try and be Thai for sure, they do not walk around with amulets from Thailand etc they are just the same as normal guys and do not try to be Masters etc, very rarely you will see Ram Muay, when i train at Dekkers you go in shadow box train etc and get on with it, no bowing or master this master that, its just like a boxing gym, they are just normal blokes, i think some try too hard to be Thai, and dont develop there own style. The Thais know their game very well and to beat them you need to fight in a unorthodox way.
