damn right paul, but as i said above,i genuinely thought it was where we lived that was the problem not sexism.
i hope that all the instructors sitting on the fence right now are prepared to look their female hopefuls in the eye when they turn up next lesson and tell them it all aint worth it and i aint backing you up because muaythai wont accept you and i am following the grain, get on home woman-both my male and female fighters get the same treatment from me,no-one is different and i will put the same amount of time into all of them..to tell them there isnt the same future as the guy they are standing next to will not occur in touchgloves gym or on my shows where 800 people attend.
julies muay thai technique is not excellent, she wins fights on heart and fitness not great skills, she is a cross fighter of kick boxing and muay thai, her style is very unorthadox, bouncy and not particularly beautiful. she wins fights the way she does it, good for her
can someone please post the fight between julie and karen lynch everytime julie bounces i will attempt to pick up a matchstick with my bare arse cheeks..julies style involves fakes (lots of ) but thats just how i teach.i personally hate to see a perfect roundhouse thrown cold, they just get blocked or caught.but kickboxing she is not.
then have a quick look at the man on the poster above-saenchai-best fighter in muaythai yet wins throwing spinning kicks, axe kicks etc etc very unorthodox fighter ---but mabe its ok for a bloke?
