HI Jamie It's got to be the most boring question in domestic kickboxing " will Tyler come to fight Sam in Scotland" and just in case you didn't know
Yes he will, given our own requirements are met, and we are served with the proper notice, no problem.
As for the Gary Minouge fight, then I say this, Tyler has been so sucessfull in kickboxing because of good training and good management, for me it's all in the preperation. I nor Tyler would be so rude as to think that a fighter from Pete Foleys well reputed strong gym could be overhauled with just two days preperation. This lad on paper alone is a dangerous player and we acredit him with the due respect. Tyler was originally overlooked for this title challange in favour of Sam ( with Sam being the current IKF Champion at the weight ) and a good Champion to boot, but you know what they say, you pays ya money, ya take ya choice. A different twist of fate, and then who knows maybe, it may have been Ty v Gary on Sat. But lets not deflect what is a great match in prospect Gary v Garath.
I am currently actively looking for meaningful fights for Tyler, especially as Ty's amatuer days are drawing to a close, and I am currently speaking with people in that vain. When Ty was passed over for this fight and Sam didn't fancy it in Telford either, changes were made to Tylers training regime to accomadate and best use the lack of ring time, and so it has been and is currently so. When Tyler re-enters the ring, all being well in April, then we hope to have improved what was already a top notch fighter.
Sam over to you and yours mate.
Back to this thread, Dave many CONGRATULATIONS mate in making the match with Garath Porter and Gary, I am sure that will make for a top bout, you have done amazingly well to pull that one off especially given the short notice.
We too have been so looking forward to what I know is going to be an awesome card and great night, and I would like to thank both yourselves and th eIKF for having us on this momentous night, and for the record, all the best to Qasim and too use one of Neils adadges, Qas will go head to head with his long time nemesis on Saturday, in what promises to be a fight long time remembered.
We had the pleasure of meeting Ronnie at Newark last October and would just like to say he is a great guy, who is destined for great things, but not wanting to play devils advecate my money is on Qas, regardless of how well these two lads are matched, I reckon Qas will agian prove, what a clever fighter he is.
Roll on tomorrow.
