Wow - what a night.

Every fight was great, the show was amazing and it stands out as one of the best nights of my career so far which is saying something because there have been some good ones.

Thanks so much to Master Sken, Swee Lip, Fui Mee and Dan Green for putting it on the line to make this happen. As Liam says this is the best promotions team I've worked with and they are great people. This is the first time I've met Swee Lip and Fui Mee and they are really movely people who deserve all the credit and success in the world. The way Fui Mee put herself out to look after Liam after what was no doubt a very long hard day was really above and beyond and much appreciated.

Having worked with Master Sken for many years I can honestly say that Bad Company and Muay Thai in the UK as a whole wouldn't be where it is without some of the opportunities that he's given to our fighters and the risks and hard work that he's taken with his promotions.

This was a massive show at a massive venue. Not every seat was full true but it was still the biggest crowd that I’ve seen at a show by far.

I can't comment on each fight as this would be too long except to say that each fight was brilliant - testament to the fighters and trainers and how far Muay Thai has improved in the UK. Also testament to the matchmaking. I'd like to mention that 5 of the 10 fights involved fighters from Leeds which shows the level of talent of fighters and trainers in this area, especially when this is not an area that Muay Thai traditionally sprang from originally.

Jordan Watson v Gianlucca
Jordan was his usual classy relaxed dangerous self and totally dominated the fight from the first second. Unfortunately Jordan has an issue with gumshields and usually spits his out as the fight starts. The only shot that the Italian fighter actually landed was a spinning elbow that knocked 3 of Jordans front teeth out! I'm sure he has now learned his lesson about gum shields.
Because of this he was a bit flat in the second but then got mad with the guy for knocking his teeth out and decided to make him pay in the third where he totally destroyed him.

Buakaw will be a totally different class and Jordan will be ready! He will also wear a gum shield.

Andy Howson v Dean James
Great fight - Dean and Tony Myers are great guys and deserves this victory. Dean performed really well and him and Tony had come up with a great game plan which they stuck to and it worked. Congratulations to them.

Liam v Anuwat
What a fight. Liam won clearly but not easily. This was a very hard fight that shows Liams toughness, determination and bottle as well as his skill and power. He was amazing and I'm still buzzing.

We have learned a lot of lessons from previous fights (Numphon 1&2, Sarmsamut, Saenchai, Anuwat 1, Saggetdau - what a resume!) and this all came together on saturday. Liam has been knocking at the edge of the top level for a while but I feel that after saturday we have fine tuned his performance to push him up there and I reckon he'd beat any of them based on that.

It sounds corny but I love these guys like they're my own kids and feel everything for them when they win or lose. Well done and God Bless them and to everyone involved.
