Not sure how that comment can be construed as racist??? but if it did then I apologise as it certainly wasn't meant to be. What I meant was that Khan is both British but also a muslim and proud of both,and therefore an excellent vehicle for breaking down racial barriers. Look at football and the racism towards black players that occured in the 70's and 80's... now young kids wear shirts with the names of black players as their colour doesn't matter, they are a player for x,y or z club and that's all the kids care about. Racism still exists in Spain and Italy toward black players and it disgusts the average British fan... sport does more to unite people than any politicain ever could.
Fighters also have managers and back room staff who pick and plot their career path carefully... it's how they make their money!! they determine when a fighter is ready for such and such an opponent. Build a fighter up, give him steadily increasing tests, build up his profile and then when thats at a peak you can start to make the mega money fights.
