fought muaythai for ten years and never had any serious injuries.
i retired from fighting about 4 years ago and put about 3stone on. about 6 month ago joined a 5 a side league with a few mates to get fitter.ive been injured ever since sprained both my ankles in 1 gameabout 8 weeks ago and still not 100%.
last week got crunched and am now sporting a black knee and leg. it is a league and not just a friendly kick about so its a bit more serious but if i was still fighting theres no way on earth id be playing football before a fight.. its very good for fitness but i personally believe its a different kind of fitness than what you need to fight. just be carefull you dnt get injured.
