Weight training is far to loose a term to use, there are so many different ways to use weights and resistance equipment. You would be hard pressed to find a top class athealete in any sport that does no do some kind of weight based strength training.

I've used weight in four of my fives sessions so far and each one has been a different type of training.

This morning I did a new circuit, take five kettle bell strength exercises (a to e) and five body weight aerobic exercises (f to j, for example mountain climbers, burpee, squat jumps etc.

you do 40 secs of f, 10 sec rest 40 secs of a 10 secs rest then repeat twice more making a five minute round. You do the same with g and b etc until you have done five five minute rounds. Its disgusting, its aerobic and it uses weights.... so what is it?

Aerobic exercises using weights burn more calories after you have finished training then any other kind of training.
