ISKA World Champions sign with GLORY
ISKA World Champions Tim Thomas and Jordan Watson have signed with the new major Kickboxing brand GLORY. It’s been reported that both fighters have agreed two fight, 12 month deals with five figure purses. GLORY have big plans to take Kickboxing to the next level with Worldwide Television exposure.
Tim Thomas ISKA World Welterweight Muaythai has already made his debut for GLORY, taking a late notice spot in the 70kg GLORY World Series tournament when a Chinese fighter had visa problems. Thomas faced and defeated Germany’s Denis Schneidmiller by a clear unanimous point’s decision booking his place in the 8 man final. The 70kg GLORY World Series Final will be staged in Rome, Italy on the 3rd November, the prize money is $300,000 shared between the semi-finalists with the winner getting the loins share, estimated to be in excess of $200,000. Thomas will face tough opposition in a stellar line-up that includes two K-1 MAX World Champions Giorgio Petrosyan and Albert Kraus.
Jordan Watson ISKA World Super-welterweight Muaythai Champion could not take part of the first round of the 70kg GLORY World Series due to a previous commitment to an ISKA World title fight in France during the same week. Watson will make his debut on the 70kg GLORY World Series Final in Rome in a single match Super-fight yet to be announce.
