As Dave quite rightly points out if two 'Pro' fighters of equal standing match up at an interclub (perhaps as a demo spar) then there should be no problem
However I see little benefit putting the aforementioned into the interclub pool of competitors. I am not a big fan of all this level 1, 2 & 3 contact either. A beginner does not have the experience or level of control to fight 'heavy contact' and besides, what constitutes heavy contact before it becomes full contact?

Interclubs should be about giving up and coming fighters their first feel for what it's like to prepare and fight and for those that don't want to go pro to give them a chance of putting their skill to the test all in a safe environment. There should never be KO's or hard contact at an interclub in my opinion.
