Getting back to the top of your game.

This is a slight twist on the old loss of motivation to train/fight.

basically I lost my mojo a little last year and didn't really train as much as I should have for fights. The old excuses I'll train tomorrow then it never happens lol.

I've now got my fire back and want to fight again so therefore am training a good bit more again. I know its going to take time to build my performance back to the level it was. However the body just isn't matching my mental state just now I want to train really hard and my body isn't keeping up with the pace,my minds saying smash it my body is saying I can't, like hitting pads, sparring i feel slow and not as strong hitting pads. I don't feel sharp at all sparring but i feel confident and in a good mental state. any advice? anything i can do to get my body kickstarted and into shape again?

A little backround im young, dont smoke, dont drink and am quite natrally a fit person. I am however sitting about 75-77kg. when i was fighting regular I walked around at about 72-73kg and fight from 66-70kg. Could that be a factor?
