Hi Brian,
Debby was weight later again my friend leaving a 1,200kg difference..
In the end your tottaly right stating fighter should make the weight. So , Debby was could not make it on the day so in the end she's wrong and should and will not take any fights at 56,5kg anymore as simple as that. I think the poor girl learned that lesson well this time,lol. Hilary disided not to give in and she had that right to do so. Both girls have fought heavier fighters in the past and this time Hilary said no to this fight. She was right and when the agreed weight is not on the scale than Debby is whrong this time. Mayby next time again when Debby will have the same problem with a heavier opponent mayby she will refuse the fight also. So mayby she learned a thing or two this weekend...Matching female fighters is not an easy task, mayby that is the reason so many girls (Debby for shure) take fights with weight differences being happy they have a fight in the end. That's why she's dissapointed because she always have to fight heavier girls and now she's heavier her fight is called of. So she's the wrong girl in the wrong situation.. Best of luck to both fighters in future and hopefully they will meet again at a more appropiate weight for both of them, i am shure those two lady's would be a great match up.
